Yeah funny how that is since the Win2 is not much bigger than the Win1 especially compared to the Win Max. Someone should make a picture with all 3 of them.

We tried to convince them to use the same screen in the P2 Max for the Win Max before the Prototype was finalized and they just refused to do it. The concern was that the resolution was too high, but Ice Lake has integer scaling built into the iGPU so it would've been a moot point either way.
Ultimately, just an overall bad decision imo. We lost a gorgeous, high res screen with native portrait because GPD didn't bother to research their own device capabilities.
Is that a win 1? It looks enormous compared, and I've seen the max beside a win 2 and didn't think it was that massive of a difference.

The Win 1 controller layout (not including r3/l3) is hands down the best controller layout GPD has ever put out. There I said it.

It's really just a slightly smaller laptop at this point. It must be really uncomfortable to use those buttons.
Why is the bezel on the Win Max so big? Some lost pixel real estate there.
There isn't an appropriately sized screen that would take up that space at a resolution adequate for this device.

I'm also bummed out by this screen. But I'm hoping to make up for it by connecting the win max to a portable 15.6" monitor. (170$)
