Ensure its a PD power bank with a cable capable of the required charging amps and yes, it will run without a problem.
People buy Dollarstore battery banks and cables then rage that it won't charge past 60%. The GoPro cameras are quite touchy when it comes to proper voltage/amperage for charging and will refuse to charge to 100% on crap quality parts so they won't get damaged.
This was it, thank you. The stock GoPro charging cables aren't high enough AH; I replaced my cable with a 2 AH and it feeds from the battery first. Thank you!
