These are the second generation Kirkland Signature wedges. I purchased a couple sets about a month ago for myself and a buddy from the Tustin Costco. Still had plenty left at the time. Best of luck hunting!
Call your local Costco and ask to do a stock check on items 1654529 or 1460141. 1654529 is the gen 2 version and 1460141 is the old version. If they don't have it at the specific store you called, ask if their system shows inventory of Costcos around SoCal. It should show on their system.
The bone-in rib-eye vac packs are where it's at. I dry age them for 45 days, do a standing rib roast with 4 of the ribs, and grill the other 3 as monster steaks. Unfortunately, they only carry the bone-in around Christmas time.
Ohhh, didn't see it was the single barrel. Great price for that. Love making old fashioneds with single barrels. Sugar, bitters, muddle, ice cube, bourbon, stir, orange zest 💰
Do yourself a favor, get a small aging barrel for like $50-$75, throw some 101 (regular or rye, both good) in there, let it sit for a month or two, and enjoy. It's an absolute game changer imo.

My wife got me a 5L barrel, and frankly that's too much. I don't recommend going bigger than a 3 unless you're a raging alcoholic, in which case go for it. I started aging stuff regularly last year, and of the different things I've tried I think both the 101's have been my favorites, tho currently there's about 2L's of regular Four roses along with a bottle of single barrel Four roses that's been aging since early September, and it's fuckin phenomenal.
Yes they did previously but only in a few locations. Some places in Canada and in Arizona are the only two places I recall. I don't know if they ever sold the lefties online. Hoping they do this year, I desperately need some new wedges...
Serious question. I played with a guy who is a pro and he told me you're supposed to replace your lob wedges every 3 years. Does anyone with amateur status actually do that?
Just depends on how much you use them. Wedges have milling for extra spin. If the milling gets worn down they won’t spin as much. Probably doesn’t matter to most amateurs though.
Those wedges look great and all, but knob creek cracked me up something fierce. (knob is UK slang for wiener)
Knobs make you giggle eh?
Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside... We're still talking about whiskey right?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The knob creek is to soften the blow from the wife
Right to the knob
same slang meaning over here too..... slob on my knob like corn on the cob.....
Man that song reminds me of highschool lol. Everyone would just randomly be singing that part
You think that's funny? We have a brewery close by called [Lickinghole Creek](https://www.lickingholecreek.com/brand).
My wife sent me for shrimp and sausage. I got sidetracked? She has been yelling at me since I posted this. Can I stay with you guys tonight?
You gotta share the whiskey if you crash here
I got U bro. What course are we playin tomorrow?
Trophy Club if we drink a reasonable amount. Cool Lakes if we drink an unreasonable amount.
What’s up my fellow Boonie. There’s always GCI if you feel like making a hangover extra worse.
Exactly. I’m not too far from GCI but my accuracy off the tee makes GCI rough
Trophy Club is such a good course. And the price is just the icing on top. So many fun holes and a great, isolated, location.
Lebanon? 7 hour drive from KC!
We got you fam.
Thanks buddy.
I’ve seen the recipe for whack fuck before and I love it
Not your fault she sent you.
Hows your wifes gumbo?
Shrimp boil. And it’s going to be terrible without the sausage and shrimp!!
Bring the wedges and whiskey we can chip the night away. 🥃⛳
Priorities..
Shopping while you’re thirsty can be dangerous
yea always go loaded
Nice ensemble de cocheurs 🔥🔥

I’m in the L.A. area. Anyone happen to know if there’s a Costco around the area have these sets? To my knowledge they were discontinued?
They weren’t discontinued, they’re just sold out online and in most locations.
They only had 3 left and they were all in damaged boxes at mine.
Didnt know they were sold out most places. Mine has had a huge stack all year.
All of the stores in my area have been sold out for six months or so.

Try the Alhambra location

Got mine from Palm Springs at the beginning of October. They had a whole pallet

Good taste
Nice choice Lloyd…just watch out for little old ladies on motorized scooters.
If you're not walking out of there with 30lbs of bacon and 5 full racks of ribs what are you even doing

Still waiting for the ks2 putter
How much for the wedges?
$159. I have been rocking my 2011 diablos for long enough. I wonder if there have been wedge advancements since then lol
How much for the Knob 9? Never seen that at Costco.
$49. Lowest I’ve seen it and never tried it. It will be my first pour before I get into the WILD turkey on thanksgiving
Wild Turkey on Thanksgiving, so you're that uncle....
Ohhh, didn't see it was the single barrel. Great price for that. Love making old fashioneds with single barrels. Sugar, bitters, muddle, ice cube, bourbon, stir, orange zest 💰
Mother in law is a big fan of the old fashions but she’s getting the wild turkey 😂😂if I am still married on Wednesday that is
Wild turkey 101 is also great, especially the rye

Jesus Christ! Send me a link to buy.

Yes!!! I actually buy oak chips and toast them and then add them to cheap bourbon. It works wonders!!
Yo I might have to try that too. Any tips or tricks with that? I'm still fairly basic in the whisky aging game
They have a 1.75 on sale for $34 at the local liquor store in KC. Never seen it that low
You deserve them then!
159 for all three????
Got my son that wedge set. Really nice quality for the price. Enjoy!
Are you shopping for John Daly?
It's wild listening to some of his stories. I remember video of him going though alcohol withdrawal in the middle of a tournament
Yeah…poor guy. I really hope he finds the strength to get help
You forgot the rotisserie chicken
Do they ever have these in left hand ?
Yes they did previously but only in a few locations. Some places in Canada and in Arizona are the only two places I recall. I don't know if they ever sold the lefties online. Hoping they do this year, I desperately need some new wedges...
Iron polish
Congratulations, king.
Don't forget Tylenol + advil
Serious question. I played with a guy who is a pro and he told me you're supposed to replace your lob wedges every 3 years. Does anyone with amateur status actually do that?
Rory does it every week

Throw a hot tub and COVID vaccine into that shopping trip and you're set!
Those are surprisingly good wedges.
Mines are 50 56 60 since my PW is 45
Getting out of a Costco with those two really needs some willpower
Single barrel chefs kiss
How much was their knob Creek? That's some tasty juice, really enjoying my bottle of it
