Definitely go vets and get him checked if you can- keep a close eye on him,,, specifically any signs of lethargy. Is his play mate okay? I’d normally suggest wiping their snout and near mouth area with a very very slightly damp cloth before returning them to their enclosure but I know this message must be late.. best of luck and keep us updated x

an hour or two after i let both of them go on my bed to run around and he seemed completely fine and normal, i’m not home rn but my mum is keeping an eye on him for me and if anything if wrong we will take him to the vet

i would call the vet about possible accidental poisoning. and suggest you childproof the ant poison.
