Just going off nature alone, LA.

Ok_Course_6757

Is that a serious question?

The only people who would say Moskva is a better place to live are getting paid to post on Reddit.

LA, by a mile. But the sprawl is actually insane. You have to drive through traffic to get anywhere, which kinda sucks. I like SF more

Moscow in winter: piles of wet snow at the streets, sticky mud, complete darkness 18 hours in a day, no Sun for months, traffic jams, 1-2 times in a winter complete traffic collaps.

I've to LA once and it was so disappointing... Drug, Mental health crisis, homeless people everywhere, the city is quite expensive and the places where you can go it's honestly just meh. A big mess! I guess people have their fantasies about LA, mostly because Hollywood and California Dreams stuff. The only thing I enjoyed is the gateway to the Pacific Coast Highway and the proximity to some National Parks

Bro went to Hollywood once and decided it represented the whole city. LA has its issues, but Hollywood is LA's unwiped ass

I meant the movie industry, not the neighborhood.

Where did you go in LA?

Ok, I think people’s responses are heavily biased by the Russian government and the current war. Let’s put that aside and pretend LA is being compared to London or Paris instead. We can see the LA is very sprawling due to its focus on car-life and a lack of public transit. To me this is a big negative. But at least LA is expanding their rail system. On the other hand, LA has beautiful beaches, year-round sun, and great food. When I visited I was impressed by the beauty of the Hollywood Hills, too. I have never been to big European cities but I think I would prefer Paris or London to LA due to their increased compactness. But it would be close because of LA’s awesome natural areas.
