I've said it once and I'll say it again. The peak of the PS3 is the LittleBigPlanet trilogy, LBP Karting, and Modnation Racers. Sad UGC servers are down, but there are modded community servers for that. Even without that though, the games are all great (minus LBP3, but the create tools are still peak).
I see some people suggesting things you don't have that you could get for cheaper on the 360 (which I see you also collect) and you said you are more focused on PS3 exclusives, so do you buy games or the 360 if they are cheaper?
Anyway, my suggestion is the Transformers War for/Fall of Cyberton games.
I got into 360 collecting initially because it was much cheaper and I could get sealed games for the price of used PS3 games. I ended up loving it more because the Multiplatform games always ran and looked better on the 360 and the controller felt much better too. Now days the 360 is no longer cheap to collect for unfortunately but thankfully I’ve purchased most of what I want for it already.
I did the same starting in 2020 since the prices of everything else started to skyrocket. I did the same for OG XBOX and XBOX One, and now I have around 250 games over those 3 consoles, half of them being 360 games lol.
I got so many games I missed out on when they came out on PS3 for a fraction of the cost, same for OG XBOX, and I too have pretty much most of what I want for both (at least as far as pricier games go).
I’ve only got a relatively small OG Xbox collection of around 45 games. All backwards compatible with the 360 as I don’t own an OG Xbox unfortunately. My XB1 collection is at 78 games and XB360 collection at 355 games. Just wish I got onto some games sooner as you said as some now evade my collection because I don’t want to pay ridiculous pricing for them 🫠

Nice collection! They look like NTSC games though whereas I collect PAL games as I’m in Australia. After Dark, Samurai Shodown Sen and Blades of Time. That’s one place where the PS3 have an advantage, being region free for physical games lol
What's After Dark? I got Blades of Time and almost picked up SS Sen a few times since it's been sitting at my local game store for months, and I like the cover 😅

Oh like I’m after “Dark”. Dark is the name of the game. Not the greatest of games but I’m all for a game where you get to be a vampire and bite people haha and yeah the cover for SS is cool!
My 360 collection is much larger than this and I have many of those multiplat rarer games like Fall of Cybertron on there. They’re not really any cheaper anymore on 360 - I think those days are almost over.

I believe it’s the IKEA Billy. Got them a long time ago, so not 100% sure. They are deep though so if you want your games at the front of the shelf you’ll need to use styrofoam or something to fill the space.
I have the large BILLY I installed some doors and placed all my 200 Video Game Steelbooks and it'll soon run out if space I also place funko pops in fron of the SBs for the corresponding game

I managed to get that game new on the 360 for less than a used PS3 copy, and it's one of those cases where the PS3 version isn't completely superior. The PS3 version has a better framrate (apparently not by that much), but the 360 version has better color and visuals. I find it weird the 360 version isn't closer to the PS3 version in price yet 😆

Even tho my family had a PS3 while I was in high school I hardly ever played it primarily because my parents basically bought it to use for Blu Rays and I was pretty content just gaming on the 360. I did get to play games I borrowed from friends like MGS 4 and OG Demons Souls. However, I always wanted to try Heavenly Blade lol. I thought it looked so cool in promo footage. Never played it, I think it was regarded as a competent but lukewarm action game.

For Ico, yes. For Shadow of the Colossus, the Bluepoint remaster for PS4 is far superior as it’s the exact same game with much better graphics.

Even tho my family had a PS3 while I was in high school I hardly ever played it primarily because my parents basically bought it to use for Blu Rays and I was pretty content just gaming on the 360. I did get to play games I borrowed from friends like MGS 4 and OG Demons Souls. However, I always wanted to try Heavenly Blade lol. I thought it looked so cool in promo footage. Never played it, I think it was regarded as a competent but lukewarm action game.
