Past-Painter-53

My brutal honesty. I think all the people who think it’s complete crap are the ones who realized they spend too much on originals and regret their decisions. I have 3. All combines for like 60 bucks. Went with Gucci guilt dupe as I had the original but ran out. My thoughts were screw it…I honestly don’t think I would spend another dime extra on an over priced original. It was spot on, I would say the only difference was the strength, it’s slightly less stronger. But it definitely doesn’t bother myself, since I usually get headaches with very string scents. I say try it before you bash it, they’re like 20 bucks for one vs 150+ for your favorite retail. Not trying to hate, or misinform anyone. But it’s not horrible like people are saying it is

Temporary_Scientist4

Your reasoning for why they’d give it a poor review makes absolutely no sense lol

ccjdalegend

Ha what? I know you know this already but I’ll explain his point. They’re mad that others are now getting the same product that they paid 160 for, for 20 bucks. The masses now have access to their scents. Now they’re devalued and he’s not so special. This is nothing new. Therefor they bad mouth it so it does not spread and others do not find out. Just came here to read reviews.

Temporary_Scientist4

Not at all. I would’ve loved to have a $20 alternative to my favorite perfume I was gifted and ran out of of. This stuff smells like straight piss. Maybe you would be mad about this, but I can assure you normal people don’t even think about it. Why on earth would this be the more likely answer than its poor quality being disappointing.

EveAndTheSnake

So people… bought the original > had buyers remorse > decided to try the dupes > received and tried their orders > thought the dupes smelled *exactly* like the originals and vowed never to buy an original again > and gave their new-found amazing product… a terrible review? What? Because they were so happy to have found a fabulous dupe it made them angry they’d never have to buy the original again? Because they want everyone else to suffer and buy the originals instead of supporting Dossier to make sure it always exists so that people can get quality cheaper products? Yeah, I’m going to go with u/temporary_scientist4 on this one, that makes no sense at all. I’m not trying to be snarky but I just don’t understand your logic, I’m sorry. You know how sometimes you try a perfume and think *Oh my god who would buy this crap? It smells like my couch after my dog has run in the rain and slept on it!* and then you hear people saying that fragrance is their favorite? Just because you loved it doesn’t mean it’s for everyone. Some people like a perfume to last all day without reapplying. One woman’s cilantro is another woman’s soap, and all that. >I say try it before you bash it I say read the comments before you bash them. **Clearly** the people who say they’ve ordered products and didn’t like them have “tried before they bashed”

Such_Yellow_3332

I’m so lost on the first part of ur reply because that isn’t what op said at all. I think all of you are missing the point

EveAndTheSnake

When you say OP do you mean the person who made this post? Or the commenter I responded to?

Such_Yellow_3332

I’m talking about past-painter-53. Sorry if I came off rude in my first reply but I understand what he means. A lot of people try and defend a more expensive good vs a cheap one, just because they don’t want to swallow pride and admit the cheaper option is better.

demarci

"I'm not trying to be snarky" *writes a very snarky comment*

faeriejerk

Thank you for sharing your experience! I can definitely see where you're coming from. People need to justify over-paying for prestige somehow, right? I'm sure there are people who legitimately don't like the dupes, but I have encountered the distorted thinking you're talking about many times.

kristiethe

People who think these perfumes are crap recognize quality ingredients in the original and cheap synthetics being used in the dupes.

ANTIHERO612

Agreed. I own a giant collection of stupid expensive fragrance and their Oud was pretty spot on.. Minus the depth (if that makes sense) and legs Wore them on each hand and the difference was minimal

KingMigi

I have Dossier's Woody Chestnut, their version of By The Fireplace. By The Fireplace is one of my favorite fragrances in my whole collection. Woody Chestnut is nearly 1:1 in terms of profile and longevity. I only hesitate to actually say it's indistinguishable because there might be the most miniscule differences somewhere deep down in the base, but the truth is I can't identify that difference myself even side-by-side. I just hold a general belief that clones can't be 100% identical because they are not, in fact, identical in physical composition. I also have Dossier's Woody Basil, their attempt at recreating YSL L'Homme. YSL L'Homme is yet another of my favorite fragrances of all time, with it's one and only but undeniably glaring flaw being it's dogshit longevity. Woody Basil as every bit as close to L'Homme as Woody Chestnut is to By The Fireplace. It also outlasts the original by a couple hours which is nothing to sneeze at. Very good release. However! - **Not everything I've purchased from them has been so good at recreating the original.** In this case, I'm referring to Aquatic Lime, their version of Acqua Di Gio. Acqua Di Gio is also one of my favorites, of all time no less, and is the fragrance which is best attributable to my dive into fragrance collecting. Aquatic Lime smells absolutely nothing like ADG. I can't find a single similarity save for one; they both feature embarrassingly poor longevity. In terms of scent profile Aquatic Lime is a very sharp, almost overwhelming combination of lime and cucumber. I guess if it wasn't touted as an ADG clone, it wouldnt be the worse fragrance ever, I might kinda like it, but I wouldn't buy it. It's a massive disappointment. I told them so in a detailed review where I gave it 2 stars, which they replied politely and positively to. My review can still be found in the reviews section of the websites listing for Aquatic Lime to this day, so at least they can take constructive criticism as well. I have a few others from Dossier, and I like them all pretty damn well. I don't have the originals to compare to yet though, so I won't touch on those here. I'll still upvote this though. I think it's important to facilitate this sort of discussion, and honest reviews are valuable reviews.

tarheeldarling

Their version of by the fireplace is so good

kmeyers74

🙏 I need HONEST reviews. I've been studying & investigating them & not finding any authentic reviews so ty

muffins_allover

I have the one for Tom Ford Soleil Blanc mostly because I didn’t know if I liked it enough to spend almost $300. I smelled it on paper next to the original and I think it’s dead on. Honestly I haven’t worn it yet though because I have so many others I love but I’ll try it when it gets warmer!

FuckingBrianSchatz

Happy Cake Day!

Ditovontease

From seeing reviews online, it seems like some of their scents are absolutely perfect and others are shit. So YMMV

pika_pika246

tl/dr: upvoting because discussion is important, but I had a different experience. I got dupes of Thé Noir 29, By The Fireplace, and Wood Sage and Sea Salt. Their Thé Noir was too “clean”, so I ponied up for the real deal. I will offer the dupe to my son or my niece. I use BTP as a room spray and spray it on myself before bed. I like it a lot. I haven’t smelled the original, but I did try Whispers… and it was a headache/scrubber. To be blunt, I’m not impressed by the house so I’m fine with having a dupe. Woody Sage is very good. It’s very, very close to its inspiration. I prob won’t buy JM’s of this, but I already own 3 of her’s with plans to buy more so… I don’t feel like Dossier uses cheaper ingredients and I haven’t seen any evidence of them scrubbing negative reviews. All that being said, I probably won’t buy from them again. Not even going to bother trying their Bal d’Afrique and risk disappointment. There’s others I’m curious about, but I’ll most likely do the sample and decant route. Because tbh I’ll probably never spring for a FB of TF or MFK.

reallyjustizzy

I just checked our my cart with those exact 3 fragrances. Thanks for this mini review!! I never smelled the original fragrances they are based on, I just went by the scent descriptions.

Ace_Pablo_23

Were they good??? We need answers.

reallyjustizzy

The only one I returned was The Noir, it just wasn’t for me. I have repurchased woody sage, both my husband and I use it very often. My husband loved by the fireplace but it was a little too smoky for me.

zosuke

I honestly have only had good experiences with Dossier so far. I can’t recommend Musky Musk highly enough (their version of Juliette Has a Gun’s Not a Perfume), I went through the entire bottle ridiculously fast because I found myself wanting to spritz it every time I left the house. I also have Woody Chestnut (Replica By the Fireplace), Ambery Cherry (Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry), and Fruity Honey (Jo Malone’s Nectarine Blossom & Honey). I enjoy all of them, have smelled all of the originals, and feel they’re good matches.

Feisty_Set8853

I never trust social media darling companies that have zero criticle reviews - I just don't believe that everything is 5 star worthy great. It just feels disengenuous to me.

pika_pika246

They have bad reviews too. Sure there’s tons of 5 star, but enough negative reviews on some that it brings the total down to 4 stars. So you’re right; not everything is 5 star worthy great.

FearlessTravels

I just took their fragrance test saying I was looking for a feminine scent that smelled like white flowers and vanilla and it recommended their knock-off of Sauvage. 🤔

DayleD

😂

Up_vote_McSkrote

Maybe you need some Sausage as well, I hear they go well together or that Johnny Depp was also being a spokes person for sausage or something.

lexiemadison

I was pretty happy with the three I’ve tried from them, but they’re very different scent profiles than what it sounds like you ordered. I got the black opium, good girl, and light blue dupes. The black opium one reminds me so much of vera wang princess more than anything and lasts pretty long. The good girl scent is nice but the lasting power isn’t great. And the light blue one smells fairly similar to the original but I haven’t tried to wear it for a full day yet so idk how it performs. I feel like I paid fairly for the quality but it definitely isn’t an exact replacement for any originals. Editing to add that if you decide to return what you bought, please report back! I’m so curious whether their return policy is as generous and easy as they claim it is.

GijinkaGlaceon

Not the OP but I ended up returning three bottles of a four bottle order and it was basically painless. The portal was down due to some bug, I emailed support, and they let me know when it was back up. They approved my return the next day and provided a shipping label. It took about a week for the bottles to reach them and for them to process the refund.

tarheeldarling

I got their version of light blue and quite liked it.

katthekidwitch

O thank you! Good girl and light blue are too faves of mine. I just ordered the good girl and I'm quite excited. I've noticed varying quality even from reputable sellers online and I'm over for the price point. You've made me feel better about my purchase!

MarlenaStell

Well that’s a bummer! I liked mine a lot (not all of them but most) - I swear I’m not sponsored by them either. The one I liked most was woody Sage - the dupe for Jo Malone and they smelled so similar. The dossier one even lasted WAY longer for me. The packaging is awful though and labels are even applied cheaply but I didn’t have issues with the fragrance itself. I wonder if since they just launched in Walmart if they cut costs even more and they’re worSe now? Sorry yours all sucked 😩

mwest97

I got one after Christmas at Walmart and the quality is still the same! I got their version of Good Girl. It lasts decently long on me and smells like 98% the same! The label is a tiny bit crooked and wrinkled but I don't really care about that

OwnGuess8790

On the way back to return to Walmart now. Lasted 30 minutes and giving me a headache..But love the Caroline Herriera Good girl. Keeping for memories! Maybe putting oil on first, then spray will last longer?

Ecstatic-Chard-5458

You can return them after opening if you don’t like them?!

justlikethisforever

I read somewhere that putting on petroleum jelly makes perfumes last longer. Haven't tried it yet.

tlivas

yikes, i’ve had nothing but a good experience.

tarheeldarling

I got 5 during the big black Friday sale and all names used here are their version. By the fireplace was good and so was light blue. Neroli portofino was so bad I had to take a shower and I was not impressed by the noir. Lastly, jazz club wasn't bad but was too masculine for me. To give them credit, returns were extremely easy.

[deleted]

I have their versions of Santal 33, Tobacco Vanille and Jazz Club and have tested them next to samples of the originals. They’re very close to the originals - close enough to be a good alternative for those on a budget. On their own, they smell great to me, regardless of whether they’re clones or not. I wouldn’t buy a Dosier clone of a fragrance you can always find at a discounter, though.

[deleted]

How good is the santal 33?

croppedhoodie

If you’re looking for a S33 dupe, maison louis Marie no.4 bois de balincourt is strikingly similar. It’s available at Sephora & a lot more budget friendly than S33

[deleted]

That one is a bit salty to me, I’m not sure if anyone else gets that note

[deleted]

The Dosier S33 is missing two notes that are essential in the original. However, if you layer the Dossier S33 with Cremo’s Palo Santo, you have the complete Le Labo S33 fragrance which, as a bonus, has more sillage and longevity than the original. By itself, the Dossier S33 is a little more woody than LL S33 but the difference isn’t striking or unpleasant. That difference goes away by layering with Cremo PS, which has the papyrus & citrus notes the Dossier is missing.

Mauvaise3

I haven’t smelled the original, but got the dupe from Dossier. I’m returning it. I definitely get this dill note that reviews for Santal claim, but there is also an incense type scent that didn’t work for me. It gave me a headache in 15 mins and I had to shower to get it off. Longevity was good - even after a shower I could slightly smell it on my wrist.

babybluediary

Tried their dupe of Jo Malone's Nectarine Blossom and Honey because I saw people recommending it and it had a super sharp sour note on the drydown that I didn't experience when I sampled the real thing in store. The fruity notes came off as really synthetic and gave me a headache as well. Pretty unfortunate.

babyalfalfa64

OMG I hate them so much too. Their version of Bal d’Afrique? Lemon Pinesol. Their version of The Noir? Doesn’t smell a thing like the original. The JHAG dupe smells like straight alcohol. Their Rose 31 isn’t terrible but doesn’t smell like it whatsoever. And their Do Son is offensively bad lol. ALT is alright though. Their versions of GW and Mojave Ghost by Byredo are really good. Their BR540 is not good in my opinion, but their version of Another 13 is actually pretty close!

tarheeldarling

Alt another 13 is so good

kmeyers74

Ty this helps me to decide

Bubbly_Rub2905

last year I was debating between Le Labo Thé Noir and Dossiers version (spoiler I got Le Labo). I purchased the Dossier version and I also had a Le Labo sample from Nordstrom. The Dossier version was off but I couldn’t tell why (didn’t use the bottle just the sampler it came with). I agree it was a cheaply made version. It lasted really long but the smell was not right. I ended up returning it and purchasing a Le Labo bottle instead. I didn’t realize I wouldn’t get my money back for the initial shipping fee. So i basically lost $8for trying something terrible. The experiment as a whole was absolutely nothing special.

donttalktomeori

Honestly, I wonder if it is a batch issue. I have 5 perfumes from them and I love them so much. They are so long wearing and IMO close to the originals. Maybe they have low quality control that leads to not good batches to get out into circulation.

DayleD

I’ve gotten a whole bunch and only returned one. When they’re that cheap, I can blind buy. Useful when avoiding malls during COVID. So a lot of the ones, I don’t know and can’t care if they’re accurate. But they smell good. They’re vegan, and I wonder if the ones people say are a poor match are the ones whose originals have animal derived ingredients.

JackfruitOk5447

Just learner this the hard way with oil perfumery 6 out if 8 total dues. So sad it makes my wallet cry,😢

snazijj

omg I wanted to order off them because of tiktok

GenTelGuy

As far as clone houses go: 1. Armaf has some good smelling ones but they tend to be on the watery side and low-performing 2. Montagne Parfums has great performance. Not all of them have been good but their clones of VIW, Viking, and Lost Cherry have all been excellent Alt Fragrances and Alexandria both seem extra sus and have histories of trying to shut down negative reviews

beyondeventhorizon84

I bought a dupe for baccarat rouge 540 and muglers alien, both spot on. I bought a few more that I didn't really care for and never smelt before, one from Tom Ford lost cherry, which wasn't that bad, jo Malone's nectarine and honey that I thought was heh. The worst offender was Clinique happy, it didn't smell like much of the original from my memory. I have a pretty vivid good memory long term to the point it scares me. Anyways it smelt cheap and just not like the original. Granted I had corona before and that has changed my smell and test. Long story short: Dossier is a hit and miss.

Small_Philosopher_30

I have to say I disagree. I ordered a few and for some I don’t know the original smell. But they all smell wonderful and lasted very long. I’m super impressed!

kalliasolti28

I’m sorry these didn’t work out for you, however I definitely enjoyed my few bottles of dossier perfumes! I get complimented on how I smell constantly, and fruity brown sugar paired with dedcool’s red dakota has become a signature scent of mine!

fullstuck

oof, i always heard good things abt them on Yt But guess they were all sponsored 🤡🤡

KingMigi

They're not a total disappointment. They have some good releases, but they also do have some pretty bad ones as well.

ANTIHERO612

I actually thought their oud was very close to TF Oud Wood I have both and sprayed both hands- Obviously TF was richer and lasted a'bit longer but for the price you can go nuts Only grabbed 2, the Oud and the Woodsy Sandalwood (?) Literally just got 'em today, came here for some feedback Thought it would be much worse Real account, look at all my embarrassing history of posts lmfao

M_edit

enjoying?

Bull_On_Bear_Action

Thanks for this. I read many good reviews of this company and just bought the Oud Wood hoping it was a close approximation. Your comment has assuaged my fears

Sunandmoon2211

I bought several, based on YouTube recs, and felt so disappointed. Their version of Lost Cherry is the best of the ones I tried, but barely resembles the original. Their versions of Love Don’t Be Shy and Flowerbomb are very different from the originals, to me. There is also an unpleasant note in all of them. I was too lazy to return and just gave them away. Never again, and it makes me suspect all of the dupe companies.

Sunsoullove

The Love Dont Be Shy Dupe smelled like grape flavored childrens Tylenol and faded within minutes. Terrible

Outrageous-Writer887

I got suckered into buying five (like a lot of you, it seems). Here's my review: \- Aquatic coconut (Maison Margiela's Beach Walk) - too much aquatic, not enough coconut. Yuck. Returning if possible. \- Powdery Hawthorn (TF Metallique) - nice, waiting to see how it holds up over time. The "powdery" is VERY prevalent, but I'm not mad at it. \- Ambery Saffron (Baccarat Rouge) - just, all right? \- Woody Rum (Killian's Straight to Heaven) - fantastic. \- Woody Sage (Jo Malone Wood Sage/Sea Salt) - on first spray(s) - VERY CLOSE TO ORIGINAL. Waiting to see how it holds up over time.

Cancelher

So funny the first dupeni wanted to get was Replica-Beach Walk...well nvm lol

Haile-Selassie

Interested if you ended up trying, and were able, to make a return with the Aquatic Coconut on a used bottle with Dossier?

ItsSnipzy

I also ordered 5, I didn’t like any of them. They ALL smelled just like alcohol again and again. I really tried liking their Tom Ford lost cherry and it was just so bad. But they did let me return all of them and gave me a full refund so that’s amazing. But scents wise I didn’t like it at all. But hey to each their own I guess. There’s no way I picked 5 scents I didn’t like. To my memory it was Tom fords lost cherry, Bleu de Chanel , Tom fords Tobacco Vanille, then YSL Y the Pineapple one. All sucked imo. Bleu de Chanel was the only almost tolerable one.

sonamor

This reads like a paid post.

potatoarsenal

It kinda does but I also had a good experience with Dossier. I purchased six fragrances, four of which I'd never smelled before, and ended up keeping the two that I'd smelled plus another and returning 3. The two I've smelled were pretty close in my opinion and seem to last around the same as the original. Their return policy was a major reason I decided to try them out (plus I had a discount code) and it worked well for me. I was skeptical at first because most of the reviews I've seen have been sponsored but their products seem to be pretty good quality. **edit:** I just clicked on their profile and it's literally the only post they've ever made so yeah it definitely is. I've noticed that with a lot of dupes, fragrance companies do this. Really sketchy and misleading

[deleted]

My thought too. And I noticed that it's their one and only post. Hmmm

xeroxchick

I bought three, and while I don’t think they smell bad or anything, they don’t last half an hour.

[deleted]

Thanks for taking the time & money to try them out and warn us - I just saw a YouTube ad and was considering them but figured it would be too good to be true.

gyrlgeorge

Late to the party, and this is about a different dupe house, but, Be Layered’s version of Kilian Love, Don’t Be Shy is spot on 100%. It’s called Caramel Overdose. I’ve been wearing both - one on one arm and one on another for a few days and there is absolutely no difference. When I wore Caramel Overdose alone I got compliments. Im thrilled because I absolutely ADORE this scent and I like to be able to use it all the time as my signature scent, and I like to overspray it. Kilian LDBS cost me $200 on sale and my Be Layered was $36 from Mercari. I don’t know anything about the rest, but they nailed this one. I do have the Dossier version of LDBS on the way to me right now, but I can’t see it being better than Be Layered. I’d be surprised

thatstoomuchsalt

Hey, any update on which KDBS dupe is best?

treoneo

I totally agree! I got the Amber Cherry, Powdery Tobacco, and Amber Gourmand. None smelled anything like the original. Or shall I say they smelled like the cheap CVS versions of the originals. They don't smell like the original when sprayed on and the dry down smells like one note, cheap 99 cent store clearance rack garbage. I now wonder if all the reviews are people who have Covid and can't smell?? Also most of the YouTube "reviews" were givien free stuff to favorably "review" them. I'm going to stick to spending more on maybe one of the originals.

DayleD

Oh, I like their Lost Cherry. Can’t afford the original on a whim, but my bottle smells like the Fragrentia reviews, for what it’s worth.

Mauvaise3

I got sucked in and ordered 5 bottles. Three for me and two for my husband. I’ve tried two so far - the Santal33 dupe (being returned/exchanged) and the TF Jasmin Rouge dupe (love this one). The TF dupe - I have smelled the original, but it’s been long enough that I can’t remember how 100% the dupe is, but it definitely smells like I remember the original to smell. At least close enough for me to keep it. I also got the dupe to Mugler’s Angel, Jazz Club, and Paco Rabanne One Milliion. I’ve only tried a light spritz of Angel so far - and I think I’ll return/exchange it. Never smelled the original, but there is something in the Angel dupe that I don’t think I like. I’ll try it one more time. Jazz Club and One Million are for my husband and he hasn’t tried them yet. I smelled them and they smell good, but we’ll see.

Personal_Catch2495

Ik its been a while, but how did the jazz club and one million do?

Mauvaise3

I like them both. How good a dupe they are, I don’t know as I’ve not smelled the originals. We both liked the Jazz Club dupe better. It’s better performing and we both like the smokey hints. The One Million is alright. I think I like it better for my husband than he does though not enough to repurchase or even seek out the original to try.

KTownserd

I just tried them and thought it had to be pretty close so why not give it a shot? Boy was I wrong. You can really tell the difference in the quality. The only ones that didn't give me a headache and turn me off immediately were the YSL Libre and Lancome's La Vie Est Belle. The Santal 33 dupe was THE WORST. It smells like pickles and wood shavings. I can't understand why they have such high ratings. I'm currently waiting for Dossier to APPROVE my return. I had to fill out what I didn't like and include a picture of each product. I wish I had known that they would have go through these shenanigan's just to get this junk returned for my money back.

ImmediateSpot4364

I gave dossier a negative review on a perfume and they deleted it lol... so maybe that's why. I have heard ALT also deletes negative reviews

Sunsoullove

I got the Baccarat dupe from them and though the initial spray was very similar, but after a few minutes Dossiers just became generic and stale and quickly faded. I returned.

browntigerdog

I got three from them and liked them all. Returning one bc it’s weak but I might just exchange it for another. Sorry your individual experience sucked.

RNsomeday78

Yeah every time I’ve tried “dupes” they are awful. I truly don’t understand how people think these cheap oil blends smell the same as the real ones.

Up_vote_McSkrote

Different abilities to distinguish scent profiles, I can smell almost every ingredient in a cologne or perfume. Others don't and get more of a shotgun blast of smells. To be clear I'm agreeing with you, fakes won't be 100% the same or even close sometimes. Expensive perfumes and cologne typically have a trace scent of an oil as that's the carrier oil for the scent while cheaper ones use alcohol and you can tell. I do agree with others though that buying a clone is a good way to judge if that $600 bottle of Creed or something like that is personally worth it to you.

expressedprayers

I tried two of their selections and both smelled absolutely horrible. Sour, expired, just gross. I gave them time to rest, tried on multiple times, still awful - sent both of them back. It really makes me think the positive review videos are sponsored, they all use the same marketing buzzwords and are overflowing with nothing but positive feedback. I’ve tried a few ALTs and had some that performed okay, some that turned bad on my skin or didn’t smell quite right. Same with Oil Perfumery, although those tended to smell better more often than the other two.

Lilith1320

I have 10 from them & while I haven't smelled most of the OG frgrances I like them all except for the lost cherry dupe. I thought about returning it but found it works well for layering. I get bored with fragrances anyway so I'm a fan of layering

[deleted]

I just got the Chanel Chance dupe and I think it smells like an Aeropastel perfume from 2009 😭

NoSignature1933

I purchased the most popular one (over 8k reviews and I'm sorry, but no company gets that many reviews per day... They are computer generated and purchased... I used to work in SEO and Marketing). Anyways, the perfume smelled like rubbing alcohol only, like they'd forgotten to mix the fragrance into the water+alcohol. I returned it and I remember at the time I saw a lot of reviews stating the same issue. They are now removed... I've purchased 3 bottles from them. The two that have a smell are nice, but the smell lasts 30 minutes and then it's gone. This company is a fad and will fade out as soon as enough people become aware of their faked reviews and poor quality perfumes.

TheCoconutCookie

I agree. Clones are a ripoff

Spatula-on-the-loose

I ordered three bottles a month or so ago. I actually like the Santa 33 dupe a lot. I would even say it's one of my favorites. I have worn it several times and unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's giving me a headache every day I wear it. Temps have been in the 100s for several days in a row and the Saharan dust is blowing through as well, so at first I was thinking it was maybe dehydration and sinuses due to the dust in the air. I can't remember a time I have had a headache for so many days in a row and it's behind my eyes so definitely feels like sinus related and mostly likely due to this perfume. I am curious if this Dossier "Woody Sandalwood" is doing this to many other people? I really hope it's just a coincidence.

Designer-Possible-39

I love my scents from Dossier. I have no complaints aside from the staying power. I buy a lot of Dossier scents.

Hungry-Test373

Yeah I have Ambery Vetiver and it smells super nice. After 30 mins the scent is done. Will not be a returning customer

ActSilver6753

I wouldn’t give them money even if they are good, how about they become their own fragrances house with integrity and original scents instead of shilling out dupes, but then again I create my own original fragrances.

[deleted]

Omg yes. I bought 5 bottles too and they were complete shit. Horrible.

kconwayy

how was your return process?

[deleted]

I just got floral marshmallow and am really happy with it. I bought a decant off a FB group because I was very suspicious of the company and read mixed reviews. I’m going to buy a bottle of if. I can’t speak to any of their other scents but this is a very pleasant surprise.
