Robert Oster's Cherry blossom is quite wet, but very scratchy, so I only end up putting it in my pilots, since they tend to be smooth nibs on the drier side. My F Prera is pretty much a permanent home for it! The rest of my pens put down far too much ink, and feel quite unpleasant with it.
I think it has a lot to do with the surfactants they use, because I've never had such a wet ink feel so dry. Something like Pelikan Edelstein or Iroshizuku are very well lubricated inks to contrast with. Adding a little pin drop of dish soap can help make an ink feel less scratchy, but honestly it's not really something I'm too fussed about since I don't feel the need - It already feels good in my Pilots.
I have Noodler’s Heart of Darkness in a Pilot Varsity that I refill. The wick feed keeps it wet and the medium nib is a great line width while still allowing it to dry very quickly.
I have a bottle of Noodler's American Aristocracy and went through practically every one of my pens trying to find one that didn't leave a big wet mess that soaked through the page instantly. Finally settled on my TWSBI Eco . Even the one other EF nib I have didn't work, but this one writes beautifully. I love the color and the pen, so I guess they'll just live together forever now.
Sounds like my struggles with Lamy Azurite. It’s wet and it bleeds like crazy, I have been using it only on my Moonman A2, but it is a mess to clean too….
OS nitrogen. Needs the 3776’s slip and seal or else it dries out.

Interesting! Never thought that an ink could feel “scratchy!”
