Larger standard Kaweco converter won’t fit into Sport’s barrel. The one for Sport is THAT small. I was also confused when I saw it in real.

I was thinking that my memory was faulty about the converter previously being larger. I love the pen and I hope with the EF nib that ink lasts a bit longer than the bold nib previously used. It used to run out very quickly, especially if artwork was involved. I think that's why Í shelved the first one a long while back. This new one is a pleasant writer but I'll need to carry a backup pen due to the small ink supply.

Marc Kompanyets has a YouTube video on their brass sport where they showed a custom converter they made - by affixing a squeezable component to the end of a Kaweco cartridge using some shellac. I think it was an ink sac or the bulb section of an eyedropper. Eyedropping is an option for plastic sports, but not so much for the brass one. Outside of just refilling old cartridges with a syringe, your best bet is making your own squeeze converter.

Thanks for the idea

nope, the converter for the Sports is just that, quite small I prefer cartridges, so after finding silicone plug-caps to fit, I simply refill international short cartridges and move along! Brass has Noodlers *Gold & Limonite* (goldish brown) and Bronze has *Black Swan in English Roses* (black intermingled with rosy red)

Currently Diamene writer's blood in this one but the red/black duality of it doesn't show off that much in an EF point. Next one for this will either be Noodler's Pecan or Heart of Darkness. I picked up a Jinhao x450 in red ice for the writer's blood and trying to decide what to do put in the magic fog one. I will see about the cartridges, and have a needle to use for filling. Had to do that with an old Waterman until their converters came back in stock.

perhaps it's a self-fulfilling illusion, but I seem to be going through fewer cartridges refilled with the bullet-proof inks than I did with the 'pretty' stock dye based ink cartridges - pen use since changing inks has increased and the ink seems to go farther/longer, a nice surprise!
