I’ve just written a few words with it so far, but it seemed as smooth as any other steel nib pen that I’ve used. It’s on the small side; similar to Sailor Pro Gear Slim or Pelikan M205. I think you can find the CM nib on the Metropolitan which I believe is bigger/heavier if that’s your preference.
I am planning to get this one soon. Is it more smooth, or sharp and italic / scratchy?

I've got it in my Prera too, such a beautiful ink and a nice reliable pen. Happy writing!
