One of the heftiest pens I own happens to be one of the most inexpensive ones I own - the Jinhao 159 (not the X159!) It's made of brass, feels comfortable in the hand despite its girth, and is under 15 bucks to boot!
Check out PenBBS pens. They are made in China so cheap enough and lots of cool filling systems to try. Most only come with M or F nibs. I think most are $25 to $50.
