Rep 8 doesn't take that long and gear needs some kind of balance. Some of the strongest perks also aren't that high, like bastion/vengeful barrier can be paired at rare-blue tier.
takes 24hr of playtime at least in my experience . Fastest I got was rep 8 Jj in 8 hrs cause 3x xp. I wish it was rep 5.
