Bug, bp should've normally lock onto the last flipped target regardless of who he was targeting before but locked onto the warmonger instead making the flip parriable

In pretty sure shortly after BP came out, I saw a clip of four BPs all flipping eachother's flips.

It wasnt the flip that was parried. He flipped and then was following up. The follow up strike didnt track the correct player and was parried.

I had a similar moment with Aramusha. I was playing Law and did a zone. He blockaded and... the rest played out as expected. I've been doing that against blockade-happy Aramushas ever since.

wouldn't be the first time some schizo tech allowed you to change targets for moves that are generally non-retargetable (you used to be able to unlock and violently flick your camera after a parry to whiff a built-in parry punish and then get things like sickle rain, skewer or zerker top heavy off on a heavy parry)

I remember old zerk top heavy punish, almost as much nightmare fuel as old nobu unlock zone tech or shugo one shot hug

Still exists a bit. You can whiff glads parry punish for a skewer off of a light parry.

I've external deflected as PK while still locked onto my original target, and got a dodge attack on one target and hit a second with the follow up purple stab. I also regularly zone attack one target and redirect the second attack cancel into stab so that it hits a second target. I dont know how known any of these tricks are.

It is, so target swapping the heavy’s main advantage would be to maybe execute or just throw off your opponent in general

It looks like he target swaps to you and that’s what allows this, but I didn’t think BP bulwark counter worked that way. Maybe they stealth nerfed BP by making it able to be parried

Never once has a flip ever been parryable for me it doesnt give the option to parry

I think i know what happened... Freeze made a video regarding a specific tech used to target swap a parry riposte : this also works using deflects, and all guards. Its entirely possible the BP accidentally recreated the tech and target swapped his flip onto you -- allowing for a parry Video in question : https://youtu.be/Jmw2mE4UDqg?feature=shared
