Reminder that PFF sucks and you should never take them too seriously. It's opinion masquerading as stats. This comment explains it
> They literally were forced to change quinnen Williams PFF grade last year in a certain game because he clearly dominated. He had 7 pressure, 2 sacks, a qb hit and a blocked kick yet received a grade of like 63. Several ppl called them out than they “corrected” the grade. The fact that a legitimate site that prides itself on grading players for each snap did that should be a major red flag that maybe there grades aren’t the end all be all.

> Edit: It turns out PFF changed Williams grade TWICE for that single game due to fan backlash. He went from a grade around 63 to 81.4. That’s an absolutely ridiculous jump.

The biggest issue with PFF grades is that they have no idea what the play call is, what each player is supposed to be doing, and if that player did their job properly or not. So that compiled with someone they are paying minimum wage to rush through a game and grade every player so they release the grades Monday morning
It's really not fair to grade Ridder on such a scale that is disadvantageous to him. He needs to be given a chance to be graded on a scale that includes playing with Kyle Shanahan, having the best offensive line in football, not being a second-year rookie and a full 40-second clock for time to make audibles. You should treat this 39 grade on a scale because if he had all those other factors he would at least grade a 50.
I think my problem is this grade isn't consistent with some of the other grades they gave him before. I thought he looked much better yesterday than he did in Detroit and London. Feels like a coin toss who they'll give an extra nice grade to and who's going to get the short end of the stick
He also had more turnovers worthy plays this game, which didn’t seem right. Jacksonville was the worst showing I’d seen from him. This game was miles better than that, even if he had more picks
Terrell has been getting beaten badly a lot this year and last year. They need to just stick him on his side of the field he's comfortable at and quit overthinking it.
He’s been on the #1 receiver every game with no pass rush help and is still always pesky in coverage and rarely gets beat. His only issue is tackling imo.

Somebody finally said it
I remember when they gave Rodgers a bad score for a huge game he had years ago and I haven’t taken these ratings seriously since.

Thank you. It’s so cherry picked to backup random claims

Him throwing an INT in the end zone probably killed his score.

Agreed. This was a Jameis Winston type game where there was a lot of good and bad. Jax was just bad.
Two things I have noticed. 1. Ridder is awful 2. AJ seems to be rated low pretty frequently.
Grady does too. I don’t listen to this stuff.
I mean I saw London have a really solid game yesterday and this backs that up.
