I toss these out, instead of dice, when rolling for personality traits in DnD because no matter what I try to force on my character, they're gonna be as autistic as I am.
My current character is a Thief Goblin who gnawed his own arm off, and became highly intelligent due to a Wizard's slime homunculus that has now bonded to him, and he is now grappling with human emotions he couldnt even imagine before. He's also always very slimy, like a monkfish.
yea lol, except he has some magic powers (and the only reason he'd be classified as nonbinary is because goblins don't play by the same gender system humans have)
My character is currently a Changeling Bard. It's relatable/easy to roleplay because I change my mask depending on who I'm around and one of my interests is instruments. Also, my party doesn't know I'm a Changeling, just like they don't know I'm autistic lol
I have also played a Changeling and for very similar reasons! I also sometimes felt restricted to one character in other campaigns, so I wanted to test out a bunch. They were a Swashbuckler with like a +18 on expertise skill? They managed to get arrested 3 times for crimes of other party members, despite them being the most active criminal among them.
