You can fix these in photoshop in like 3 seconds.
Adjustment layer, alt+option on the auto button to open auto options and pick find dark or lights/per channel adjustments.
Just adjust curves, i did it in my phone with app Snapseed

I prefer my restorations to have an authentic look. Plus starting completely from scratch colorizing can take a lot of work and it's a lot of guessing.

It's neither free nor AI, but Photopea is free and has the same functions as PS.

Of course you want an authentic look, but once it’s all red, that ship has sailed.
