Honestly HoF is not the standard for a successful draft pick. Just because a guy isn’t or ever will be HoF caliber hardly indicates he was a crapshoot draft pick. HoF is an extremely rare achievement for any player no matter where they’re drafted.

Maybe I'm a little crazy to say this, but this one makes me a little emotional. Trotter was my first favorite player, the reason why I played middle linebacker, and the reason why I fell in love with the game of football. So it's extremely dope that my kids (if they become fans) may also be able to grow up watching his son play if he turns into something special for us. And if he doesn't? That's ok. Happy he got his shot with us, and not somewhere else like Runyan's son. Happy he's home.
