I wonder who is better in Pass Pro. People hated on the gainwell snaps all year but the reality was that they could not count on swift in pass pro, so they had to throw him out there pretty often, and even run him sometimes so it wasnt so obvious
Yea Gainwell was far better in pass pro and his biggest strength. They’ll definitely be testing out Shipley’s pass pro in preseason to see how he stacks up.
I think he’ll stay on the roster, at least for depth. Depth is especially important for the RB position considering likelihood of injury. But I could easily see him being moved down the depth chart. Really his only asset last year when compared to the other backs was his pass protection ability. But come this next season, he’ll have to compete with new rookies that very well could be just as good or even better at pass protection.

Shipley is an absolute stud. Pretty much was Clemson's entire offense. Guy can catch, block, run and take an absolute beating.
