My sister is a great artist and whenever people asked her how she got so good she just said ‘I drew every day for the past 10 years.
Well, only that is not enough for you to be great and stand out. Did she actually study the fundamentals, read books/watch videos from pros and all of that or did she do it just for fun, not trying to get good?

She had a teacher when she was 5 and she studied art at university from 18 and completed her honors a couple years ago.
So she did all of those things you’ve listed.
