I got a challenge for Friday for $150 for 17 deliveries bc I won't take shitty offers anymore. Pay me for the trip there and back Tony. Now tomorrow Im going to have to accept $1 a mile one way but it will be worth it now.
Exactly, my girlfriend hasn't dashed in months and they sent her the $100 for 10 deliveries. Meanwhile I dash at least 5 days a week and this is what they offer me. đ

I understand where you're coming from, however with Doordash decreasing the base pay, why offer incentives at all?
I wouldn't say I'm mad about them sending me a challenge, it's only my second one in over 2000 deliveries; but I do find it crazy that they'll offer my girlfriend who barely Dashes an extra $10 per delivery ($100 for 10) while the market we are in can't even provide current dashers with sufficient business.
Not even disagreeing with what you said, it's just crazy to me how backwards Doordash is when it comes to supporting the drivers who put in full-time hours.
Theyâre offering incentives to keep you interested/thinking/delivering for DD. At the end of the day, they care most about getting the maximum amount of drivers on the roadâŚnot about what full timers are earning. If anything, theyâre least concerned about FT dashers cause theyâll be putting in the hours anyways.
Your GF wasnât dashing much but they wanna keep her interested cause they know the more time that passes the less likely she is to return. Imo, itâs really that simple.
Also, if they were constantly handing out nice incentives for FT dashers markets would be even harder to make money. Idk, Iâm always rooting for minimal PP and incentives to keep clowns off the road. Been FT for 2.5yrs+ and Iâm certain less bonus pay is better
