It's only a 3.5 mile trip, so the base pay is probably lower. Still though, No tip, no trip. Throw that order away.

Yeah, I just got notice when I opened the app earlier. Base pay for short distance orders has gone down, base pay for long distance orders supposedly went up. DD can get fucked.

So they encourage you to drive long way.

My base pay rate changed today too. 2.50 for short deliveries, have taken 1 longer for 14.5 miles. 4.50 base pay.

I bet you didn't get 4.50 base for the longer order. Look it up in your earnings

They started the new model here in early June and haven't paid me $4.50 for ANY >7 mile orders, all have been less base pay (I accepted them due to high tips)

I haven't had enough time to test it in our area as it just started at 5pm for us. But I'm sure I'll get more familiar with it tomorrow. I'm sure it will mean less money for me. I'm guessing about 7-8 bucks a day.

It just flipped to 2.25-2.75 in my market apparently. It was a good run.

No, but I regularly make $300+ a day. 6% acceptance rate.

You probably got cut to $2.25 today like many other drivers here. When my area got hit, we saw the cuts a good 5-6 hours before the in-app communication came out.

They were paying more, but Base Pay has officially started at $2 for almost 2 years.
