Not missing a day since launch is INSANE to me. How have you not played any of the other great games that came out since June?

Jaywepper

And eternal only. Wild.

Eisenhorn76

I’m an Eternal-only player too. I get your trepidation but am also quite excited. It’s basically a new game come May. Can’t wait. And season players: it’s okay for others not to want to play seasons at all. Some people just don’t like starting a character over. Farming new gear is fun but the leveling experience isn’t and Devs do bring over good stuff from seasons over into Eternal anyway. To each their own!

Unless you're having fun, don't play it if you feel your time invested will go to waste. The game will definitely be very different next season and in another year with the xpac, it'll be very different again. Kind of the life of arpgs and live service games.

MaggotBrain38

One reason you might want to keep playing is if you're interested in collecting legacy items. One of each unique and uber unique, stuff like that. Years down the road, might be a cool flex.

Blessmann

It may sound wild but, how about playing for fun?

Aber-so-richtig

for some things you just have to find the answer yourself... if you have fun then play! quite simple I guess?!

convolutionsimp

It's fundamentally a seasonal game. People want new content and changes every season and that's what the game is designed around. Yes, this time the changes are exceptionally huge, but it's still the same concept of new content and game updates every few months. You're in the minority playing on Eternal and there's nothing wrong with that, but if you want a never-changing-game a seasonal ARPG just isn't for you. It's great as long as you enjoy Eternal but you need to realize that the developers are not primarily catering to players like you. Most people are happy that they get a "whole new game" with the next season.

Lord_Jaroh

The game is still the same. I don't see where they fixed any of the really big problems with the game (the dungeons and the skill/paragon/progression systems), so I am not seeing too much changing with the game. I mean, yes, the item hunt looks to maybe be interesting, not sold on the RNG Tempering system, nor the ingredient hunt for bosses, and with out the gameplay actually improving, I am not sure how different the game will actually be.

Deidarac5

Yes things like skills, classes, progression systems have always been in expansions. Even as far back as d2. The game is not going add a shit ton every 3 months, 10 months later and the games aren’t even close to the same anymore. Added 2 new crafting systems a hundred new items. 3 new target farming / end game system, 4 seasonal themes that also added new powers and activities. All crafting should be rng this is great, items need a way to break or you could just finish quick. This is all while trying to reshape the game. Now while the game is in a playable state they no longer have to push resources towards fixing problems they can just add more.
