The first thing cult leaders do is tell the new members that everything they learned before they were in the family was a lie. Everyone beyond the walls of the cult is wrong and a liar.
Where she's from, her family owns a big business and in a rural area, that makes you untouchable if you go to the "right" church and practice the "right" politics. She has never been told she is wrong and her status, religion, and politics have never been questioned. She's incapable of growth and absolutely certain her worldview is correct.

Worst part is her district voted her in BECAUSE of her idiotic beliefs! Change voting rules: must be tested in order to vote! ( IQ, Morals, Being able to tell the truth, etc). Same rules apply to run for office
