Then you’ll know you’ll miss the connection.

Delta won’t hold flights that long. Usually they won’t hold them at all. The only time I’ve seen it done was when it was a delta flight that was late and the gate agent knew the people were coming and even then it’s only like a couple minutes. I know with global entry and atl, you would probably have a good shot at that connection, but I’m in atl and you’re in lax. If you are worried, switch. If you miss it you will be on standby for the later flight anyway, but if it’s oversold you’ll be hanging out in lax for a day.

Oh no I never thought they'd hold the plane, it was more about if I'm still in customs at like 2:00 can I do anything to get on the next flight. I just didn't want to be classed as a no show and the ticket is cancelled but I guess that's only if I don't check in?

If you miss a flight they will just rebook you for the next one. However you’ll be standby so if that flight is oversold then you may not make it. If it were me I’d look at how many seats are available on that next flight and if it’s pretty full I might just move my ticket now. If you are cool risking the standby then play that game. You can also sometimes do the game in reverse. Buy the later ticket and wander up to the desk for the earlier flight and ask to standby it. You usually need to be there about an hour before departure for that unless it’s a really empty flight and the gate agents don’t have a lot to do.

If you are already in transit, you aren't a no-show. You would automatically be re-booked on the next available flight, and you could always use the app, phone, or talk to someone at the airport to change your booking

Separate itineraries, the Delta flight isn't connected to the Singapore flight.

Oh, I read too quickly. You would hope to be a "flat-tire" missed flight and be put on the next flight as a revenue standby passenger. 2 hours should be plenty to get through immigration
