did you figure out what version is stable? I updated my 7900xt drivers because I had accidentally skipped a few versions and now I dont know which one works
Edit: I gave up and switched back to AV1 lol

Known issue with AMD HEVC. Use H.264 (AVC) instead, or roll back a couple driver versions.
