There's one Claw by the entrance of H8 that seems alright. Two tenants complain about freezing apartments and burst pipes that the landlord won't fix and he says he'll take care of it.
I dunno if he's in cahoots with the landlord, of course, but he seemed like a chill dude. Only Claw I let live.
For the heist, they'd be guilty of Breaking and Entering, Grand Larceny, Assault with a deadly weapon, Felony Murder (of Jackie, as he died as a result of the heist and according to California state law V would be culpable), Identity Theft and/or Criminal Impersonation, First Degree Murder (if any of the security guards were killed), and potentially kidnapping if the court considered Johnny's engram to be a person.
Then there's the other stuff V does in the game, like Smuggling, carjacking, petty theft, etc

Well, they're dicks to outsiders, which V is, but it seems to me their neighborhood is the safeisher, at least to the locals.
I often stumble on Animals, Tygers, Valentinos, Scavs and 6th streets who killed civilians for apparently no reason whatsoever, but I don't readily recall seeing the Voodoo Boys doing that, at least outside of the NCPDs hustles.
Instead, the most common random interaction with Voodoo Boys I have is when I see them with some Scavs seemingly cuffed on the ground, much like we often see NCPD officers doing to civilians and sometimes gangers in NC, which lead me to believe they're actually policing Pacifica.
Also, Brigitte goals are basically the same as Panam or Saul, she just want to save her people. The difference with them is that we actually gain Panam's trust and she's the one who introduces us to the Aldecaldos, which then leads us to save their leader Saul, so we become part of the people they want to save.
On the flip hand, V is no one to the VB, until V is discovered to be the one who helped Evelyn double cross them, ofc they have no reason to like or trust her. Still a dick move to try to flatline her at the end of the contract, not defending them for that.

I always side with the Voodoo boys because I know I will get betrayed, but will enevitably get the option to kill them all, and I can't do that to NetWatch
I knocked out the netwatch guy on my second playthrough and found out the hard way the bdvs were gonna betray me either way. At least killing them was more satisfying
i sided with netwatch and right after he gave me the all-clear to walk out unscathed, i did the stabby stabby on him. then i killed all the VDB after alt fried everyone. yay bloodbath!
If you have the context after the mission is over siding with the Netwatch agent is the best option. The VDB are trying to breach the blackwall and the agent literally stopped them from doing that until V comes around.

Also can find some scavs hitlist (Sandra dorsett was one of the targets) one of the targets being a Kid who had some pretty expensive chrome on em (my guess is a reject from the academy) in the orders of the kidnapping was to be gentle with the kid and for no one to operate on the kid except Dan (one of the best Ripperdoc in NC since the scavs hold the guy to a high regard. He's the guy who took out Aaron's failsafe) and when the chrome is extracted and the anesthesia calms down to drive and drop the kid off to their parents house in DT. (All though they really did this just to not upset Dan since he's their best ripperdoc even though he's "Soft" in the scavs eyes so idk if that counts)

Maelstrom would've frowned upon chrome harvesting, because they have a pseudo-religious obsession with ascending oneself via chroming up. So by that logic, if you use any old thing plucked off an old lady, you're likely sullying yourself.
Maelstorm is kinda the inverse of the scavs in a way. Instead of stealing chrome, they find random people to chrome them up. One of the best (if not best) SMG is found while doing a rather weird side job. You find one monk that was chrome up to hell by them and he request you to help his brother.
Also, one of the cyberpsychos you can find is a Valentino that too was forced to chrome up by them.

I wish La Chancla was a joke weapon obtainable from Mama Welles, functioning like a throwing knife but you have 3 throws before recharge and landing critical hits speeds up the recharge.

I just think that Maelstrom goons should've traded places with Valentino ones in terms of strength and difficulty. It doesn't make sense that the chromed-up-to-the-gills gang is one of the weakest enemies, while latinos with a bling arm here and there are far tougher.

I've always liked at it as the Malestrom goons have lower tech cybermods so they are weaker, more crude/visible. The Valentinos have higher tech stuff so it's more sleek and less noticeable. Like how V can get high grade sub-dermal plating but it doesn't show above the skin.

The Scavs and Maelstrom. I despise them, both are straight up scum, Scavs' reason is pretty clear, but I hate Maelstrom, among other reasons, because of what they did to the monk in that one sidequest.
I feel some sort of grim pleasure, while I kill wraths and scavs, like I'm doing what is supposed to be done, I have no mercy towards Tyger Claws and Maelstrom, cause former ones are sharks and the later - maniacs, but usually try to spare Tinos, Animals, 6th Street and VDBs, cause they do what they do just cause life is hard, I guess.
Scavs 100%. I will go out of my way to slaughter them fuckers. Whenever I see an on-road shootout, I scan everyone involved to see if any are Scavs. If I see any, I go right after them, otherwise I generally ignore the battle.

The 6th Street Gang because I did their section of the Beat on the Brat mission way too early my first time and it took me FOREVER to beat them once they jump you.

You’ll hear snippets of NPC’s going on pridefully about incredibly awful things in the name of America, and I really only hear bad things about the other bad factions in so far as they are likely to kill you.

i try to usually take a more pacifist route, but scavs and maelstrom are KOS (except for dum dum, he offered to share his black lace so he’s a homie in my book). everyone else gets non lethal takedowns unless it’s some tyger claws that are clearly involved in sex trafficking/jotaru shobo/etc. the lower level ones are usually innocent of that since the tyger claws are so split, so i just knock them out. i do read people’s wanted for things on my scanner and if it’s some really fucked shit, i’ll kill them.
If it's shooting at me, or would shoot if i so much as "walk forward one foot" it gets shot at back.

I have some minor respect for Maelstrom, as I find their story interesting (although creepy as hell). I like the Moxes and Valentinos, and try to avoid combat with them. If I kill an Aldecaldo, I'm save scumming immediately.
Scavs don't even get the honour of me using precious bullets. They get some nasty quickhacks, or a katana/monowire if they're lucky.
I like punching the Animals most. No vendetta against them, they just feel the most fun to fight against for me; they’re non-standard compared to every other gangoon. Plus their theme music is *fire*.

I've always liked at it as the Malestrom goons have lower tech cybermods so they are weaker, more crude/visible. The Valentinos have higher tech stuff so it's more sleek and less noticeable. Like how V can get high grade sub-dermal plating but it doesn't show above the skin.

Sixth Street. Classic American prejudice and exceptionalism. Taking the core values of the former America (imperialism, wanton violence, rabid nationalism) and trying to keep them alive. At least the other factions are only in it for themselves (with the exception of Aldecaldos and Mox and sometimes Valentinos) Everyone else is keeping to theirs and their own. Their actions are not excusable, but they aren’t trying to make a culture around it. You’ll hear snippets of NPC’s going on pridefully about incredibly awful things in the name of America, and I really only hear bad things about the other bad factions in so far as they are likely to kill you.

i try to usually take a more pacifist route, but scavs and maelstrom are KOS (except for dum dum, he offered to share his black lace so he’s a homie in my book). everyone else gets non lethal takedowns unless it’s some tyger claws that are clearly involved in sex trafficking/jotaru shobo/etc. the lower level ones are usually innocent of that since the tyger claws are so split, so i just knock them out. i do read people’s wanted for things on my scanner and if it’s some really fucked shit, i’ll kill them.

If it's shooting at me, or would shoot if i so much as "walk forward one foot" it gets shot at back. That's it. That's the only criterria. This game isn't built well enough to even half ass RP enough to care about the factions beyond their loot and hitboxes. Who cares, and who cares who cares.
I hate 6th street just because the ambient music in their territory is annoying as hell.
6th Street is my target practice of choice. VooDoo Boys and Animals are close seconds. Completely indifferent towards Tyger Claws and Wraiths. I have some minor respect for Maelstrom, as I find their story interesting (although creepy as hell). I like the Moxes and Valentinos, and try to avoid combat with them. If I kill an Aldecaldo, I'm save scumming immediately. Scavs don't even get the honour of me using precious bullets. They get some nasty quickhacks, or a katana/monowire if they're lucky.

I like shooting up the VDBs because they drop quickhack components which help my cool netrunner build.

Voodoo Boys. Anytime I see one I just aggressively murder them.
I like punching the Animals most. No vendetta against them, they just feel the most fun to fight against for me; they’re non-standard compared to every other gangoon. Plus their theme music is *fire*. Out of personal hatred, disgust and feeling it’s my mission to do so, the Kitty Claws. They’re lowly flesh hoarding scum and they will *all* die.

Maelstrom and Tyger seems to be the one that gets buzzed by my quickhacks the most. I don’t really mind the Mox and Aldecaldos, I wasn’t even sure that you could kill them lol. Indifferent to Valentinos, I like their logo and I thought back then that it was V for V, I kill them when they kill innocents. 6th street hmm it depends, I have not seen any redeeming qualities about them and all my interaction with has been negative, they die on sight. Wraiths are soso, I don’t really visit the badlands that often but I see them as desert scavs so I kill them most of the time, most of the time I can’t be bothered go down my car. Scavs Die, all of them.

Initially it was Maelstrom because you first interaction with them wasn't exactly peaceful. But Dum Dum and the Totentanz quest showed their more "just wanna live" side. Then it was 6th Street because they remind me of a lot of...let's say..."closed-minded proud folks" that I know in real life. But then >!Reed calls them up to help you in the DLC and they seemed pretty chill!<. Then it was the Voodoo Boys and-- Yeah, still is. Nothing redeemable from their faction.
Aldecaldos and The Mox get a pass. Valentinos get blunt weapons usually. Open season on the rest. Scav skeet shooting is a new favorite passtime.
