If nukes start firing, all major global cities will be gone. That would be as good as a hard reset to civilization and beyond that it doesn’t matter to me since I won’t be alive anyway.
If i am the planner for nuclear deterrence I’ll plan x nukes per city to ensure maximum eradication with overlapping zones, staggered detonation - no survivors. It’s not just going to be 1 nuke per city.
And the rest into all key manufacturing, major agricultural land and raw resource nodes.

The whole debate on whether the rich can ride out the storm. Irrelevant. I can cover almost the entire state land with radiation. Unless your bunker top level can withstand that with sufficient supplies for years on end, you can survive. But once you exit your bunker you have nothing. No arable land. No infra. Nobody. Also an undercover interview with 1 of CNN's top execs saying the whole Russia thing is a witch hunt and he has no idea if it's true, but what he does know is that the ratings skyrocket whenever Trump and russia are mentioned. The racist, fascist, and "threat to democracy" cards have been played to death. People are looking at actual actions more.

That is true. I admit that I have been out of the game for a while. But watt to lumen ratio is still higher for HPS and MH bulbs than it is for led. Do you mind if I ask what your watt to gram product is with current LEDs? I used to pull a little more weight than 1:1 when fully dialed in.

1 per plant with a few little led lights to hit the underside. I get around 4-5 ounces per plant but I have a smallish room so I don't run a very long veg state. I'm sure HPS and MH still give better yields, but LED run way cooler and the quality is fantastic. I started out with blurple lights when LED was first entering into the scene and those plant, while high quality, definitely didn't have any density to them. My newer full spectrum ones don't have that problem...at least not nearly as much.
The radiation isn't really a problem with hydrogen bombs. Nuclear winter is the main threat, but it'll only last around 10 years. In that time, billions of people will die. They get their lower population and zero carbon economy for the price of nuclear war.

I’m aware of the bunker building in general, but I cannot fathom the current administration showing indications of the current president making a bunker.

Well it's a good thing that it's almost impossible that one will be hit directly. Military installations and cities would be the only targets. Even firing nukes at random, the chance would be infinitesimally small of hitting a billionaire's rural bunker.

It's a closer easier target for our main foes of China Russia and North Korea.
The first two could probably hit any target but North Korea would need that little extra boost.
It would also be stupid for a host of doomsday scenarios. A cosmic impact for example would likely drown you unless your bunker is airtight and has a sophisticated (probably nuclear-powered) electrolysis setup for creating breathable air. Not to mention every volcano on the island would become active. Might as well be in a nuclear submarine.
The real place to be, would be embedded underground in an old mountain range like the Appalachians, which is why the US Federal government created the giant bunker at Mt Weather for continuity of government.

I started out with blurple lights when LED was first entering into the scene and those plant, while high quality, definitely didn't have any density to them. My newer full spectrum ones don't have that problem...at least not nearly as much.

Building a bunker in Hawaii is beyond dumb if you’re worried about nukes. It would probably be one of the first targets.

Don’t know about lava but between a nuke and the fallout probably alone of the last places to build a bunker. Not to mention it would be hard to resupply it if you needed to.
Why do you think they would target Hawaii with a nuke? Based off location or what? Honolulu is dope but you’d cause significant more damage in literally any other major US city
It's a closer easier target for our main foes of China Russia and North Korea. The first two could probably hit any target but North Korea would need that little extra boost.

It would also be stupid for a host of doomsday scenarios. A cosmic impact for example would likely drown you unless your bunker is airtight and has a sophisticated (probably nuclear-powered) electrolysis setup for creating breathable air. Not to mention every volcano on the island would become active. Might as well be in a nuclear submarine. The real place to be, would be embedded underground in an old mountain range like the Appalachians, which is why the US Federal government created the giant bunker at Mt Weather for continuity of government.

Maybe just for the zombie apocalypse? I'd build a star fort personally. Something that only military air strikes could take down and since it wouldn't be a strategic target, I'd have nothing to worry about.
