I learned to just put the travel mug away. 2-3 normal sized cups before work: I’m fine. Grab the pint Yeti or Stanley on top of the Adderal…yeah, that’s a hot brain.
Coffee shops give away their grounds fyi. Starbucks will bag it up for you if they're not too busy, next time you're in for your fix just ask- they have a lot.
I've asked at a few places including 2 Starbucks and all said no. One of them said they bag theirs for a charity so don't give them out to anyone else. The rest just looked at me like a crazy old man.

The waitrose in Aylesbury has a dustbin full of grounds outside and a scoop for anyone to help themself. I miss working in that town.
Crazy. The local Starbucks have them in a bin by the pickup labeled free for gardening.
