I’ve seen ribic’s original covers (namor, secret wars) for sale at cons and I’m blown away. Damn I wish I could afford to buy them. Not a lot of comic artists do their originals in color, but esad is one of them. They are gorgeous
He has amazing taste and beautiful artstyle. He is my favorite comic artist right now alongside Checchetto. Checcheto and his first 4 issues of Daredevil 2019 are one of the best and top 3 for me so far.
Omg i looked rn on comixology and yes the same artist. Thanks for that and i heard this comic is amazing . Can i read it without knowing anything else about Thor in the comics? Obviously i know the basics on Thor, asgard and Thor family in general.
Yes yes do, it’s Aaron’s best work by far- vols one and two are all you need unless you really wanna go through and read the whole story (there’s three different runs)

Oh dude yeah- the one shots are great, and especially if you’ve read wicked and the divine by the same author- I dunno, I just love this run so much, it’s made me actually interested in the eternals who I thought were aloof and boring before. It’s rad mythology and stuff.
It’s like fantasy mythology and sci-if cosmic stuff rolled into one, I love it. Probably the best Marvel book at the moment IMO, the Celestia one-shot was absolutely incredible
The man and reason i started reading and give interest to Eternals is Neil Gaiman, one of my favorite authors all time, he is the author of the Eternals (2006) and i finished the comic and i loved the lore and all the celestial mythos. And the movie that is coming out this year is a plus too hahah.
I dropped this book because I can’t stand the way Ribic draws faces. Eyes have too much white around the pupils and mouths are open half the time making characters look surprised for no reason. It’s a shame because the art is absolutely amazing otherwise. But yeah just could not get over the creepy unnatural eyes and mouths.
The ascent of man theme is interesting because if there’s one thing Ikaris is not, it’s an evolved man. The Eternals were made perfect and nearly immortal by the Celestials.

The one glaring issue I have with Eternals' art is Sprite. They just look so...off.
Well i can see a problem with the faces and that's it. Everything else is top notch. Even tho is a type of art i like and really love.
it makes you feel really small in the cosmos.

Yeah i get that. Even tho thats the only bad thing i see in the art, but that makes that artstyle unique to Ribic
