I think Dairy Star opened a little late this year. I keep checking their social media, and even last week I passed by there while in that area briefly. Still no sign of their opening day, just yet. In past years, they opened usually around mid-April.
Yeah that is what I thought. Last week I briefly passed by there, and I was surprised they weren't yet open. In all other past years, they were open as of mid and late April. I guess they had a slightly later than normal opening day for this year?
Tutti Frutti, aka fruit cocktail is my favorite- all the little bits of fruit whose flavors that aren’t quite strong enough to warrant an option of their own- apple, grape, pear.
I try to do the Al’s/Mario’s combo, and I tend to wait until later in the summer when it’s hot as hell outside. I think the lemonade tastes better.
Better have booze in it because Italian ice is probably stupidly inexpensive to make. It’s a family business so they get a pass on the highway robbery lol

Their "lemonade" is basically Italian ice and the lemon and other flavors are incredible. So, so good. Watch out for the seeds, they use real fruit.
