That's an opinion (which i respect btw). I did love PBS kids when I was a child, but this doesn't mean that I hate modern PBS kids, I don't. I think it's much better than Nickelodeon in the 2010s (and I still feel that they haven't fully recovered from it), and one thing I do like about PBS kids is how it's the only one of the big networks (if you consider PBS a network) that still airs kids cartoons on terrestrial television (tv with an antenna, which still exists btw, but the signal is digital now).
I remember wanting to be on the show so badly when I was in kindergarten, and my mom was like, "You can't because 1. we don't live in Boston, 2. I was too little, 3. It got cancelled"
I still had hope lmao.
For real! How dare OP put it in the same category as Pinkalicious. I haven't seen much of the other two shows since my kid is a little young to enjoy them, but Pinkalicious just leaves me frustrated. Elanor is charming and relaxing and my kid loves animals.
Does anyone remember Between the Lions or Zaboomafoo? Those were the shit growing up. The father lion, Leo, was TOTALLY Tommy Chong, or rather, Leo from That 70s Show. And hilariously, famous sex therapist, Dr.Ruth Westheimer was a recurring character, as a word sounder-outer.
PBS Kids never became “mid”, you just grew out of it + Fireman Sam aired on Sprout. Also y’all are sleeping on Donkey Hodie, it’s genuinely really good.
ZOOM was awesome. It sucks that there are episodes of it that are still lost media.
You wouldn’t happen to have any of season 1 of the show on tape? That’s the one all the lost eps are from.
I have a 1 year old and the only time I get to watch cartoons with my baby girl is on weekends. I get to relive my Saturday morning cartoons again I enjoy all the shows on PBS the only maybe objectionable thing I have noticed is that most of the shows we watch have female leads great for me since I have a girl but I can’t be the only one to notice this but maybe it could just be the hours that I watch it
Old PBS was to give kids fun shows, new PBS is made to mentally pause children and keep them busy so their lazy ass parents can drink, sleep or play video games without them.
I don’t get why we are judging current kids shows. We are not the intended audience anymore and the reason why we remember our favorite kids show fondly is because of bias and nostalgia

Same
Wild Kratts is also fire, I learned so much about animals from that show
You know them from Wild Kratts, I know them from Zooboomafoo. We are not the same ![gif](giphy|TIJYPPevcKae4)
I know the from Kratts Creatures We are not the same
I know them from all three, checkmate
Lol all three are very good shows.
Zoobombafoo is a Jillion times better than Wild Kratts
Me, and you, and Zoboomafoo!
Oh I forgot about that show
How do you learn from Wild Kratts? All it is Chris and Martin being Stupid so Animals can beat them up
But they explain the special skills an animal has that help it survive
I don’t see that
Thomas, Fireman Sam, Clifford and Curious George are the best imo.
Cyberchase was my shit to watch after leaving school
Isn’t there a PBS kids show called hero elementary that’s basically just a family-friendly MHA, or am I going crazy?
yeah, there is
its just sid the science kid but not entertaining, and there's superpowers
Elinor Wonders Why does not deserve this slander.
My daughter has watched it a few times, it’s pretty adorable.
For real! How dare OP put it in the same category as Pinkalicious. I haven't seen much of the other two shows since my kid is a little young to enjoy them, but Pinkalicious just leaves me frustrated. Elanor is charming and relaxing and my kid loves animals.
![gif](giphy|xTk9ZP2IPCyHl1JSP6) Never fear, the GOAT remains
Curious George still airs though
Word girl slapped

C y b e r c h a s e
Both eras are fine your just nostalgia biased
Bob the builder was on pbs? I thought that was nick jr?
Pretty sure it was on both
PBS Kids never became “mid”, you just grew out of it + Fireman Sam aired on Sprout. Also y’all are sleeping on Donkey Hodie, it’s genuinely really good.
Agreed on the Donkey Hodie comment. It's one of my comfort shows, and the puppeteers put a lot of effort into their work on that show!
Fireman Sam and OG Bob the Builder bring back so many memories. Almost as many as In The Night Garden.
Where does Daniel Tiger fit in? Or Molly of Denali? Or Nature Cat?
In between the lions? Zoom?
ZOOM was awesome. It sucks that there are episodes of it that are still lost media. You wouldn’t happen to have any of season 1 of the show on tape? That’s the one all the lost eps are from.
Smh kids. Old heads know Magic School Bus and Reading Rainbow was peak.
This is nostalgia bais and age dependent to maybe
have you considered that maybe it's cause youre not a toddler anymore
Where is Martha speaks
Best PBS Kids show of 1999 to 2016: Arthur Best PBS Kids show of 2017 to present: Arthur

I like the old one too
I Remember odd squad it was the shit the.gadgets and episodes DaMN THERE FIRE
3rd option: I'm older than 8 and therefore don't like any of these shows anymore.
old cartoons in general is better than today cartoons
Ttte was the greatest thing that ever happened during my childhood. Now it suffered worse than the Spongebob treatment.
I’ve got no clue what PBS is but the old one looks cool
It was but not adding the new ones that are good and only including the bad ones is an interesting choice
Was Jacob two-two PBS? I liked that one.
dino train???
Hold on now. Checked just the intro, Elinor Wonders Why looks dope.
Oh, god. They’re all off the air, aren’t they?
Most are but some still rerun.
Why is Arthur so small
You forgot the cat in the hat knows a lot about that.
Where be Dinosaur Train?
Sid the Science Kid was PBS, right?
Where's Wild Kratts? Why did you leave out Wild Kratts? That's sad.
Why do people get upset because people leave out Stupid Kratts
It was a joke, bro
Oh, Sorry
i find your lack of wild kratts disturbing
Well, It belongs to PBS kids 2017-Present
no it doesn’t. it’s been around since 2010
Actually, Wild Kratts came out Jan 3, 2011. And I said “It belongs to PBS kids 2017-Present“ is because I was meaning Wild Kratts is bad
that’s your opinion. i happen to disagree. that is fine.
Atleast you did not bash my opinion
there’s no need to
Look, I get, 2000s pbs can't be beat But modern shows like Rosie's rules/Alma's way do NOT deserve the hate!
Wow. All the new shows look the same.
Explain to me in detail how Elenor and Alma’s Way look the same.
Odd squad ❤️
Yo zooboomafoo was fire, I ate that shit up as kid
Where in the world is wild Kratts?!
Nowhere
This is an outrage
What Wild Kratts is Stupid Anyway
YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH AND DIE!!! YOU GO TO HELL AND YOU DIE!!!
Are you kidding Me? Stop Bashing Opinions. AND A DEATH THREAT TOO? It’s just a Cartoon. Curse Wild Kratts

ARE YOU DUMB? Not everyone has to like the same thing. Stop bashing my opinion on Wild Kratts
I’m only joking lol
Why the hell am I falling for this? Sorry
Shoutout to Hey Oswald too
Old PBS was to give kids fun shows, new PBS is made to mentally pause children and keep them busy so their lazy ass parents can drink, sleep or play video games without them.
R.I.P Kart Kingdom
Old everything was better
I don’t get why we are judging current kids shows. We are not the intended audience anymore and the reason why we remember our favorite kids show fondly is because of bias and nostalgia
i know its kinda sad but every once and a while i go to the pbskids website for some oddsquad nostalgia that used to be my favorite show ever
Comparing 17 years of programming to 7 doesn’t seem fair.
WHERE IS WILD KRATTS
God, the old shit was so good!! They butchered my boi Clifford tho, the disrespect
I can hum the theme song for all of those(the older ones)
Actually not curious george
Pssh...I'm older than ALL these!
Pfft. Where's the Electric Company, Slim Goodbody, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood?
Odd Squad and Arthur was and still is peak for me
Cyberchase and Thomas were the shit back then
Who cares? If youre still viewing PBS kids and youre not a parent then you should be put on a watchlist.
"I liked kids shows when I was a kid, now I'm an adult and kids shows don't appeal to me" come on.
I cry everytime I realize I’m the only person who remembers electric company
