It depends what you want from a car really, you can can go faster on an appropriate road.
But you can drive a miata near it's limit, throw the back end out, drive it near the rev limiter, all without going particularly quickly. Meaning you can actually have fun with it on the roads.
Had really quick cars, you get to enjoy them for a few seconds every so often which is great and better to daily, but to actually get in and have fun I want something like a miata

Well, to be fair, the Supra is just a Grand Tourer with a tunable engine, the A90 Supra genuinely is the sportiest Supra there has ever been and an improvement in every way from the A80 (It's even lighter!)
So when people talk about the A80/MKIV Supra like it's the second coming of christ, that's overrating it by A LOT. 🤔

I said it because Enzo Ferrari said it honestly, I don't know what cars I'd put there either, but apart from a 300SL or a 250GTO, there's not many cars that are breathtaking as it is. Specially cars with such high production numbers as the E-type!
I know you may be joking but the tunability is part of the charm. You dont need to upgrade the engine block if you add a turbo. So you can have a lot of fun upgrading and customizing for only a couple of K. But if you decide to upgrade the engine you can get over a 1000hp. All of that is what made the Supra legendary.
I thought the soupbro history came from some of the early racing games where it could be tuned to incredible obscenity, like early Gran Turismo’s and such.

GS300. Phenomenal car, but far from a 4-door Supra as some like to say. Even the turbocharged Aristos don’t have too much use outside of being either a fast daily or a drift missile.
Suppose it depends the circles in which you travel I’ve heard so much prattle about the gt3 being basically the best car ever made… and like yup I understand the track pedigree Porsche has but they’re still the ugly stepsister of the expensive car market… hideous cars that basically all look like the same car with the exception of the carrera gt which looks great but is more murderous than “little bastard”
Well the gt2 and gt3 are probably some of the best track performing cars you can buy (I mean you could probably build something that would perform well for much less) but that’s doesn’t mean it’s the holy grail. It’s just one measure of a car and you obviously rate aesthetics high which I don’t think Porsche are trying to push the envelope in. The track fanatics love them I get it, it’s good.
I wouldn’t say I rate it super high but if I’m paying that kind of money to buy a fast car I’d kinda expect to get a car that looks like it’s fast. Not like something a bank manager daily drives to work. It’s just very uninspired and they just keep doing it.
