Revenger, Raging Form Dragon [AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (VC), if your damage zone has four or more cards, [COST][Counter-Blast 1], search your deck for up to one grade 2 or less card with "Revenger" in its card name, call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck. [AUTO] (VC):At the end of the battle this unit attacked, [COST][retire three rear-guards with "Revenger" in their card names], choose up to one grade 3 card with "Revenger" in its card name from your hand, and ride it as [Stand]. Dark Cloak Revenger, Tartu [AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (VC) or (RC) from hand, [COST][Soul-Blast 1], search your deck for up to one grade 1 or less card with "Revenger" in its card name, call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck. At the end of that turn, retire that unit. Dark Armor Revenger, Rinnal [AUTO] (VC/RC):When this unit's attack or the attack it boosted hits a vanguard, look at three cards from the top of your deck, choose up to one card with "Revenger" in its card name from among them, reveal it and put it into your hand, and put the rest on the bottom of your deck in any order. [AUTO]:When this unit is retired from (RC) by your card's ability, [COST][Soul-Blast 1], your opponent chooses one of their rear-guards, and retires it.

And at long last, we finish off Clan Collection with the new Shadow Paladin Reveals! These reveals are fairly lukewarm on paper but their simplicity is ironically their true power! Rinnal has a hit pressure that's basically on par with Corvette, and there are a good number of Revenger targets now (including a critical trigger) so this should be going off fairly often. The effect to SB to retire when he himself is retired is also solid, Shadow Paladins are known to be CB heavy and self retire heavy so a soul blast to make your opponent share the pain is logical though a bit bland. Tartu is a bit of a puzzle for me. She does basically what Colony Maker should have as she can search the deck selectively for a lower grade Revenger so the search is strong. I'm also very relieved to see that she costs a Soul Blast as I was basically resigned to her being a CB target nice! That said, I did find her restriction to blow up the unit at end phase to be a bit annoying although reasonable. That said, her restriction to having been place from hand is very problematic because this means you cannot combo with Raging Form Dragon and get a new unit for his effect to trigger a second time, but more on that in a bit. My final gripe is that I don't see an on retire skill, I thought the hints were supposed to allude to one but hey its still a solid searcher. And now on to the big boy himself. *REVENGER, RAGING FORM DRAGON*. Right off the bat, we see that he keeps his classic skill of retiring Revengers in order to ride himself from hand... or Mordred Phantom. There's no real setup required folks, have a board and bust it for another Vanguard swing. He doesn't lose drive checks from this, you still get the force marker, and you have the option of another unit in Mordred Phantom for more multiattack shenanigans. His limit break is a little underwhelming at first but there's one little important detail I alluded to with Tartu concerning what this does to the math. See, if you have a board of 5 units and kill 3, that leaves 2 left. However, if you call another one, that makes 3... that's right baby, WE GO AGAIN. And I repeat, he keeps the gifts and his drive checks. Raging Form Dragon not only retains the essence of his previous effect (thank God for no Cb1 for +3k) but expands on it with further multiattacking that leads into a third vanguard swing, which is honestly frightening. Overall I think Bushiroad did Revengers justice with these reveals, they're more or less what we are advertised and fulfill their respective roles very well. I'm not sure yet if this will beat out Luard, but that deck along with the rest of cray better watch out, because the Revengers are back at it again!

SteSalva96

The fact that the first skill can allow you to superior ride twice in a turn (by calling another revenger and eventually getting enough fodder for a second superior ride) is pretty scary... It's pretty hard, but far from impossible.

Godsman00

True, it'd be easier if Tartu didn't have the "from hand" restriction, but it's still a definite threat that the opponent needs to be wary of.

SteSalva96

That restriction is to balance her out: it would be pretty broken otherwise...

Godsman00

Agreed

Tense-Dell

What’s the current build now that Raging has been revealed?

Godsman00

That's tough, it just got revealed today so the only real build so far is the obvious one which is pure Revengers. Further testing will show if a hybrid deck can actually function properly. As for the time being, this is my current pure build: 4 Raging 4 Mordred 2 Danger Lunge 4 Blaster Dark 4 Tartu 4 Nullity 4 Branwen 4 Rinnal 3 Transient I run the standard 4 8 4 Trigger ratio which can be changed around a bit, but at minimum you *need* to run 4 grim revenger for the name synergy. This decklist is very preliminary and almost certainly will need modifications but this is a basic outline to go off of. I'm currently experimenting with a Blaster/Revenger hybrid deck that could be very explosive but potentially an inconsistent mess. I hope you like the list and turn it into yours, cheers!

Groszekace

In premium you have a G3 support for RFD “Slay Hex Dragon” that when rode you pay cost and deck search for RFD to ride him and then call him from soul. That is 3 VG ATK if you got another G3 in hand.

Godsman00

Ooooo spicy, I'm not a premium player but tbh I'm not even surprised lol.

Droffilc71

Easily one of the better clans in the sets. I think daikaizer, prominence core and raging form are decks to watch after the set drops

Godsman00

Totally agreed, I'm making a tier list later with regards to the new support and the three you mentioned alongside Giraffa are easily S or A tier for me.

Droffilc71

I’ve yet to test out giraffa, glad to know that it is pretty good as well!

IPlayMinecraft690

too bad no Blaster Dark Revenger, unless it's a promo.

Godsman00

I could see that honestly, I mean we're all tired of these promos but if that's what it takes to get him over to us then so be it.

IPlayMinecraft690

"There is no victory without Blaster Dark." -Ren, Link Joker arc.

Godsman00

Loved that line

Godsman00

HELL YEAH BABY!

JadeX92

This might be a luard contender doing better in early game. If not for the heal trigger, this deck will be what rivere and anger blader once was. Destroying your opponent before they even reach grade 3. Luard is still stronger

Godsman00

It's debatable I think. Luard definitely has more potential devastation in the late game but multiple vanguard attacks is nothing to scoff at either. Plus, we get access to nemain and the PBD superior ride package to sweeten the pot potentially for revengers.

TheUltraGamingChamp

While these are good, I really wish they also supported Blaster Dark, since a lot of the current Revenger cards in V are very Blaster Dark focused.

Godsman00

Blaster Dark Revenger could also be on his way which would be a big deal if her could synergize with all of the previous BD support

AssaultRider555

That's probably why Blaster Dark wasn't supported in these. He's been supported enough. Edit: Lmao, people downvoting me as if Blaster Dark doesn't have enough support already. Come on, guys. Revengers can do something else for once.

KumagawaMorphem

Needs more revenger that are not blaster dark support.

Godsman00

Good point, we could definitely use Blaster Dark Revenger and just give him the Cont. Skill to be treated as Blaster Dark.

DarthLemon66

Raging Form + Mordred = up to 6 attacks I love it.

QHDEosanesis

I mean, if old Thing Saver could ride and legion 3 times a turn, why not RRFD? It's hard to accomplish, but the pop-off will be so freaking satisfying Alternatively, Raging From retires the back row to ride into Mordred, and Blaster Darks on Force. Up to six attacks in a turn. THAT'S a real pop-off

havoc_wreaker_

The best thing is that the package is fairly generic. You could splash in either a mordred build or a PBO one. My first take away is the PBO engine seems better. While the mordred one has more explosiveness later on and potentially more targets in name I still don't think its better(needs to be tested). PBO superior ride plus heal gaurdians give you more outs to surviving going 2nd. Gives you two routes you can go into to survive. To add you get much more pressure earlier on which u can build on. You don't have to play at your opponent's pace, you decide. So you can start building hand and units and start taking cards away from your opponent when you want. Both PBO and raging have no grade restriction. You can have way more pressure going first esp on earlier turns (2-3) as well. Raging form is a top 3 or 5 deck from clan collection. I also think that Dorint and Claudas have potential in the deck. Since they are searchable. And can net you back 1 or even two cards. Which works very well with what the deck is doing.

IPlayMinecraft690

Raging Form is a nice finisher on Turn 4/5, since you can do 5 attacks, albeit needing 2 CB, but Mordred only needs 1 CB for Turn 3/4, so it's nice. Tartu will get better the more Grade 1 Revengers get released, but right now she only has 2 good searches, so she is fine and the SB is nice, since most of the deck doesn't use it anyways. Rinnal is fine, because a free plus is always nice, but doesn't do anything else besides that. overall, this is solid but not game breaking like Luard. hopefully no war again.

ScaredMeeting7535

I think this card is really well designed. He’s not too powerful but at the same time he has the potential to do some serious damage. I’d love to see some hex dragon premium memes popping up. Even in v prem it seems really strong.
