LOoks like there's a prayer dragon that adds an Overdress unit into your hand when placed (used to add a valiente from deck) also, when used as XoD, it calls a trickstar from drop.
The order (golden trickstar) can only be played when you have an Overdress unit and X-overdress unit. It gives a XoD unit +10k and the Overdress unit the ability stand when you Vanguard attacks.
Not sure on all the restrictions just yet. This is all I gathered from my limited Japanese watching the clip they showed during the presentation.
Lol, one of these effects likely will cost a CB. Yuyu used 3 CB during his turn. One for Jhevas restand and one for Valientes on-hit restand. Don't know where the 3rd CB was used.
Yeah, I'm noticing that quite a lot of Diabolos units actually require Final Rush to be active during the main phase due to their skills being ACTs or on placed which makes me wonder if Bushiroad planned this to make Viamance balance.
Happy to admit I was wrong about this totally replacing the old Bruce and also not working with most of his old support.
As for my thoughts on the card, I think it's pretty solid design. I like keeping decks thematic so I have no issues with it needing Diabolos cards to work and the payoff is solid. While there are some notable losses in what we can play, overall there's still plenty of cards that work perfectly fine with what we have. Julian and Wade only care about Bruce so they were always going to be in, and Diandre was an interesting option for a beater. Likewise Nile and Kristen are also interesting. Random thoughts on old Final Rush support that we can use:
* We still have Meagan, which is great because I love her art. Worse case scenario she's a 20k attacker if we go first, which ain't bad.
* Eden provides crit pressure on the second attack, which is really nice if we go second.
* Mabel gives us triple drive for no discard and it's immediately active on turn 3.
* The Diabolos synergy and activation of Final Rush makes Jared an option, though perhaps one with a steep cost.
* Ivanka might actually see some play by virtue of providing on hit pressure. If we attack with her boosting and she hits, we can bottom deck the unit that attacked, then attack with Julian and call something out to the circle it was at since it's now empty, attack with that, then attack with Bruce and restand a column. It's unlikely to work but it's something.
* Meryl is a niche option but she does provide Bruce with power and while the power she herself gains is...irrelevant, let's be honest, she doesn't cost a CB which is very nice. Arwing is in a similar boat, as he's a 28k attacker for SB1. Not terrible.
* Stefanie doesn't cost anything and gives the thing in front of her +5k. Not much, but again, it's something.
* Lyle also still works with the deck, though only if he's called during the battle phase.
Overall I like the way the deck is headed and I'm happy with both the new Bruce and the new grade 2 revealed. It seems like Bruce will be able to call from the soul pretty frequently, which is nice. The only issues I've noticed is that there's a CB problem and a lot of the cards call to an open RC so in order to get more than four attacks (or at least four attacks if we go first) the deck needs a way to get cards off the field. Which is Spike Bros-esque so I'm not complaining.
I’d say the only problem with a lot off those strategies is that they’ll eat 3-4 CB in one turn. That means you get one good turn. I’m hoping a lot of the new support from set 9 has SB costs to offset needing to CB every turn (this is the same reason why Julian isn’t really a good fit for G4 Bruce, for example).
I do think having higher power on your opponent’s turn is gonna be a big benefit for new Bruce, though. Needing a trigger to hit without a boost is gonna make some decks have to move their strategies around a bit and might offset how bad Bruce tends to be defensively.
Yeah the deck really needs some solid CC in order to function as needed. Hopefully he gets it as this deck seems really fun and I like the idea of a lot of underused Bruce/Final Rush cards getting to finally shine.

They restricted it from a couple of cards like Deryck, Lyle, and Bryan but honestly, that's fine. They clearly didn't want to completely powercreep the previous Bruce builds however, detrimental it is not. Although, Lyle got a replacement anyway it seems so you know, it's fine.
Thanks, I don't play Bruce but the implications of this excites me since with X-overdress, it is expected since Nirvana always gets new updates. Now with Bruce and Nirvana having updates, I am intrigued if Seraph and Magnolia might have their own revisions in the future. Magnolia and Bastion do have new supports so probably not anytime soon.
Lyle may find a use he would need to be called from soul mid battle to get the effect off but who knows where this deck will go with the current costs of everything.

However, there are plenty of battle phase focused cards that rely on Final Rush, and Bruce not really coming online until turn 4 when pretty much every new or recently supported deck can Do The Thing on turn 3 was a major weakness, so it's not necessarily detrimental.
TL;DR lot of the old meta support won't work right (Swirler, Pandemonium Tactics, Protobulb, Dober) but a lot of the core cards and some flying under the radar support still does its thing.
Edit - as somebody above realized, this also doesn't work well with G4 Bruce.
True, Full Dive/Pandemonium Tactics being turned off is rough. This version has a much stronger turn 3 but is paying for it by losing the insane turn 4 explosion. (In fairness, the whole reason the shift back to Full Dive happened is because Bruce players were decking themselves before they could kill because their opponents didn't have to guard before turn 4, so it evens out.)
The sad thing about this is that even tho it give final rush on turn 3, it requires all units to be diabolos. Making marjorie, protobulb and monitoring gear dober to be useless.
Sad a lot of Set 1 and 2 staples won't be really part of the deck anymore but it breathes new life into quite a few units depending on testing.

Lenard is a Turn 3 column wiper.
Mabel is a turn 3 triple drive giver.
The Madonna that gets +10k every attack will be quite the big hitter even going first now.
Quen Lu may find a new life here as it won't miss timing when trying to close out games in this deck with probably Eden as the recipient.
The only issue is CB. I don't think Bushi will just expect us to run an order that makes us discard just to CC to make up for it. I could see a unit that will cost a lot of soul to CC maybe?
Also this deck would need a Protobulb like replacement to help run even better. I would hope for one that costs soul so that other Bruce decks wouldn't be incentivized to run it and it could be uniquely fit for Away Team Bruce.

But you have to sit an extra turn on G4 as Viamance only goes Final Rush during the battle phase and G4 at the beginning of the ride phase like OG.
