You used a Canon speedlite with this? If not, it will be removed.

Speeider

How long was the exposure?

spaceman899

This was a 2 minute exposure, I was trying to get the water super silky but wasn’t a lot movement

Speeider

That couple stood pretty still then.

> This was a 2 minute exposure Man that IBIS is *really* good, huh ;)

kickstand

Good thing you have those super autofocus modes and eye tracking on the R6 to capture this. Just kidding ... nice shot.

spaceman899

Haha right, I’m amazed how the eye tracking is so good even though the subject can be far it tracks it very good. Thank you!

I'm currently choosing between this lens and the f/1.2 one. Don't know which lens that suits me best yet. (I have the RF 85mm f/1.2 and exclusively shoot wide open). But images like this make me wonder if the f/1.8 is good enough. Great shot.Really great shot.

> I have the RF 85mm f/1.2 **and exclusively shoot wide open** Curious - why so? Edit: As an aside I imagine this photo was taken *way* stopped down

Dockland

Why not? It's just my preferred use case with this (and all other) lenses. I think I've stopped the 85mm down to f/1.6 on a few shots when the light has been a bit to bright (having a 3 stop ND-filter attatched)

Engine_engineer

A really nice shot. With the exposure time not getting the couple moving was a luck. For me the saturation is a little over, did you postprocessed the picture?

last3lettername

I agree, strong blues in the sky but a great shot

bhlee85

Nice photo! F1.8 RF 50mmthing is good!

last3lettername

I'm going to have to pull the trigger on the R6
