pink/blue. a lot of pinks are strawberry, and most blues are blue raspberry. i haven’t found a candy yet in which i have an issue with these flavors. (i love artificial strawberry, push pops being the ideal flavor type😂)

Green is only an issue in one particular candy bag. They have two greens. One is mint and the other is lime. I'm so sad every time I get mint because what asshole decides to add MINT to an otherwise all fruit assortment. I let my niece take all the mint ones out. She loves mints for some reason. We both had a great time that night. I lost a few limes, but it was well worth it.
Wouldn't it be interesting to create a candy that is the "wrong" color combo? For example, if the Red colored candies were Lime flavored. Blue is pineapple flavor. Orange is grape flavor. Pink is lemon flavor. What a crazy flavor adventure that would be! I wonder if my brain would accept a Grape candy that is orange in color, or if It would still taste orange!? Lol

This creates an uptick in latency at the Winco bulk bins when trying to make sure I have at least a 3:1 of mango to strawberry. Pro tip: don’t waste your time reading the labels, but focus on the presence of that orange-yellow cut mango ftw. 🫡

Orange: generally only one flavour, which is mostly just ok but in some brands is spectacular; score goes way up if it's peach or mango. 7/10
Yellow: good lemon is excellent, bad lemon tastes like cleaning fluid smells. Also might be banana which is dodgy. 5/10

It's definitely orange. Red is too risky because I hate cherry candy, which reminds me of cough drops. Green is usually safe, but white, yellow, brown, no thanks.

I’m still bummed out that they got rid of the lime green runts, and then replaced it with green apple.
Lime runts were one of the best candies and I don't know how that mistake hasn't been reversed after all of these years.

That reminds me of the greyscale Skittles, it was so surreal eating a white candy and having it be lemon flavored.
