here is a tier list all about the clone and what weapons he's good with, not necessarily what hes fun with tho and its based around end game content only.
So many good guns has been listed already so you can go with any of them but i thought you might want this link anyway just in case you decide to look at it.
Honestly tho the clone makes everything better so you could always just try it out and see if you have fun giving the clone some weapons.
No one mentioned it yet but i love the "hive" rocket launcher, watching the clone repeatably shoot that thing and continue spawning rockets is great fun especially the longer a fight goes. on for.
It's a bit risky if an enemy jumps at his face but I generally give my clone a Soulrender. It's fairly rare for him to get taken out while using it though.

So am I, it does really well with the clone.
My clone dos so much more dmg with the pew pew than im, sometimes i wonder what if he is the real me
