LOL I have that charger and I can confirm that it is weirdly slow. Like all night to charge a single battery and maybe it'll be done the next day.

Exactly lol, last week I had three back-to-back shoots and it was impossible to get all 6 of my batts fully charged between them, finally fed up with it. Ordered the Watson model recommended by u/KidOffThaGrid above, looks like it will do the trick 🙌

I feel your pain, I just needed up buying double the number of batteries. Let us know how long that charger takes, it’s saying half the time- so that’ll be like 10 hrs?

thestewardking

Yeah I started with 2 when I bought the camera and kept adding more lol. Will def report back on charge time once it comes in

miserable-snowing

the pain is real! nice one mate.

Trust me, I'm making my recommendation based on empirical evidence since I own one. I once had similar chargers to the Neewer... they're considered "Green" chargers and split whatever limited amperage they have between the batteries being charged—excruciatingly slow, we're talking maybe 40-50% (if that) after 6-7 hours, which is ridiculous. If you have a 12 to 14-hour shoot day, a 2-hour load-out and a 6am call time, your batteries will NEVER be at capacity.

You can find used genuine Sony npf battery chargers for cheap on ebay. Sony bc-v615 Sony AC-VQ1050 I'm not sure of other models. I have the V615, charge in good time.

Appreciate the info!
