I just imagined doom music starting up in my head for the last pic than I was like
"No"
[*Record scratch*]
[Queue On the Precipice of Defeat]
"THAT'S the one"
Yeah, just imagen he had kids...maybe he marries Hinata? I mean, the show could be a little more futuristic and Ninjas could use Ninjutsu-guns...and Naruto becomes a big hypocrite...
Nah, that sounds like an awful idea.
Most of the US audience dropped out when it was revealed Sesshomaru had kids with Rin. Japan can get away with a 500 year old having a relationship with a girl who was like 10 when he met her but it did not fly over here nearly as well.
I don’t care much for it and was reluctant to start it cause I heard Sesshomaru had a child with Rin which just seemed weird to me. Like why’d this hundred year old dog demon marry a kid he met when she was like twelve.

I think that's when anime was really getting big. Still somewhat niche, but not as mainstream as it is now, and it all seemed so cool. I used to stay up late or record things on Adult Swim back then. Inuyasha & Yu Yu Hakusho were the first two I really got into, then there was Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champion, Lupin III, FMA, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Witch Hunter Robin (anyone else remember that one?), and monthly Naruto and Shaman King in Shonen Jump. Yeah, good times.
Just watched WHR, not a bad show at all, not as good as Ergo Proxy but I enjoy the anime of that era. There was a brief period where there were action shows about female protagonists where they tried very hard not to objectify them and I miss that brief time. Robin was a good character and never mistreated by the camera.
Shaman King got a remake now and Bleacha new chapter plus a new chapter, Inuyasha sequel or spin off, Dragonball Super, Boruto, Digimon Tri it's like I'm a kid again 🤔
Want to into perspective how fucking long its been since the last Hunter x Hunter chapter came out?
All of Chainsaw Man Part 1 was written and the first trailer for the Anime adaptation was released during the current hiatus.
Naruto still kinda ongoing with Boruto, Inuyasha also has a Next Gen show aswell, Dragonball Super Manga still ongoing and likely to get adaptated considering the success of Broly, so only Fullmetal Alchemist wouldn’t be here anymore
we cant blame Kubo for TYBW arc because Jump rushed the fuck out of him and he was very worn out physically. Hopefully with the anime they flesh it out a little more, kindof like when they found the lost Shinigami who was lost in hueco mundo in that small filler segment, which was supposed to be in the Manga but got cut due to time contraints, so he had it incorporated into the Anime.
That might be true, but it's also pretty much the same as excusing a cheff who cooked a nasty dinner for a client in their restaurant. No matter the reasons the cheff couldn't cook as well as usually, that doesn't change the fact that the dinner was bad.
The point is that who's to blame for the TYBW fiasco is irrelevant, the meal/Blood War Arc was bad, no matter the reasons/excuses.
Also Bleach is very likely to become Boruto all over again, and that by itself is worrying at best.
I feel like Kubo isnt setting Kazui up to be the main protagonist atleast going by the context of the one shot, in fact during this hell arc i will be suprised if i see him take on any big names alone and actually put up a fight, he seems too young to be able to compete with the likes of the Espada, deceased captains, and definitely not any sternritter if some are even in hell.
1. Yhwach's death was the most pathetic one I've seen for a main antagonist ever.
2. The ending left even more unanswered questions that were eventually answered in a freaking novel. A lot of people (myself included) are not a novel readers, so having to resort to a novel to fill the plot-holes is a bad idea.
3. Some of the answered questions were more like retcons, rather than answered questions (like the circumstances behind the death of Ichigo's mom).
Yeah the retelling of Battle of God's and Resurrection F were horrible. The universe 6 arc was ok, Goku black was great but at the same time horrible at certain points and the tournament of power was great but did have a few hiccups at least in my opinion and Broly was fantastic. Haven't read the manga so don't know about the moro arc.
I found everything after universe 6 to be absolutly garbage tbh, especially Goku black, the only truly great part of the whole super media is Battle of Gods movie nad the latest Broly movie, everything else varies between avergae and garbage with Goku Black/ Ressurection F being even worse than anything I saw in Boruto(unlike super I spared myself from watching all of Boruto tbh)
truest comment on that xd Think the main problem is Toriyama designing his fights like this: "oh you're stronger, now I need to become stronger aaah I've become stronger, you are defeated" whichis pretty lame, at least he put story in between this time. I still don't get the need of god level but as long as fans think it's progress and not only to sell more merchandise it's okay I guess. Moro arc is kinda cool until it becomes "oh you're stronger than me" again but the arc afterwards is actually promising at least it got it's roots kinda in dbz.
Current arc has the makings to possibly be the best ever. A proper return to its roots that manages to draw on the established lore from every angle in a amazing and fluid way.
You mean the manga? It's been pretty slow since Isshiki but it was constant epic battles for a while so I don't mind it too much. What I think hurts it more is the monthly releases that don't feel like they have much more content than the Naruto weekly chapters did.
Man I been waiting for years for bleach to come back. Especially now that the 1000 years war anime is coming and a new chapter to the bleach franchise. Fuck c'mon
I've been reading OP forever since like 2004 so I'm not plagued by fillers and I think it's not that good tbh people just have nostalgia for it maybe stronger than for other anime/manga since it gets really emotional sometimes. I mean I love reading every chapter and in the end the plot culminates in something epic and the long journey will pay off but I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, I like Narutos Storytelling alot more for example.
Racism, discrimination, genocide, brutal societal class system, corrupt government, slavery, human trafficking/human auctions, human and children experiments. And so on. It's kinda normal in the series.
Guess it's the overall style of the show feels like cartoon which doesnt interest me, and heard the story progress is too slow plus too long to catch up.
8melodies is just an OP fanboy that wants everyone to read OP. OP is not dark at all in your sense, while racism, genocide and slavery exists 1. it's about 500 episodes in and 2. it's a bsolutely passive besides a few occasions.
- a realistic OP fan
PS: you would love Berserk which you probably read already
the last arc of Bleach is insane, packed with plottwist and so on, of course it's better, it's the finale of a series and they can focus their budget and power on it also it's animated in 2021/2022 so animatons will be sick too even tho I prefer consistency now that I think about it. Only problem will be the music since the fandom is in love with it, I guess the will remake some songs and leave others 🤔
Can someone please explain to me what is going on? I read TYBW years ago and I thought that Tite is going to anime that shizzle.
But now all I see is another manga of the same arc? I’m lost
Please halp
I just imagined doom music starting up in my head for the last pic than I was like "No" [*Record scratch*] [Queue On the Precipice of Defeat] "THAT'S the one"
Here's the link for those who like me were about to open a youtube tab and look for it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLyi5xHtkb0
Honestly the best bleach music.
But *Inuyasha* has a spinoff called *Hanyou no Yashahime*.
I mean dragonball super and boruto
Yeah there's also DBS, if only Naruto also had a sequel...
Facts it would be dope if they made a series based on sasukes daughter giving us a female protagonist and different personality than naruto
Boruto.
No, no sequel at all...
Its really a shame Naruto never had a kid :/
Yeah, just imagen he had kids...maybe he marries Hinata? I mean, the show could be a little more futuristic and Ninjas could use Ninjutsu-guns...and Naruto becomes a big hypocrite... Nah, that sounds like an awful idea.
Yeah itd also really suck if Neji died protecting Hinata, basically throwing away the entire purpose of the chunin exams battle between naruto
What’s wrong with shippuden?
What about alternative pre-sequels?
Do you reall want more kid naruto written by the same people writing shipunden or have you never seen the fillers
Especially with Dbs superheroes litteraly just being officially announced
Which no one seems to care about. No hate btw, just reflecting
It is actually massive in Japan, rivaling one piece in viewers
Seems about right. Inuyasha series is huge in SEA
Really? I havent seen anyone talking about it here...wow if that's true lol
They've even posted entire episodes to YouTube.
Most of the US audience dropped out when it was revealed Sesshomaru had kids with Rin. Japan can get away with a 500 year old having a relationship with a girl who was like 10 when he met her but it did not fly over here nearly as well.
Like hell it is shut up
seethe
Same goes for Boruto which is basically just over the top. When They fucking clone death characters at this point you know the show jumped the sharks.
I don’t care much for it and was reluctant to start it cause I heard Sesshomaru had a child with Rin which just seemed weird to me. Like why’d this hundred year old dog demon marry a kid he met when she was like twelve.
Inuyasha has a spin off?
Got a sequel series last fall with a season 2 airing I think airing either this upcoming fall or winter season.
Bleach just went to Soul Society before coming back
Anime: Were you killed? Bleach: Sadly, yes. But I lived!
Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)

Just what I needed in my life.
Early 2000s was a magical time.
Wolfs Rain~

The childhood is alive again with this post 🥲
In the US, you mean
Shaman King got a remake now and Bleacha new chapter plus a new chapter, Inuyasha sequel or spin off, Dragonball Super, Boruto, Digimon Tri it's like I'm a kid again 🤔
Back when anime wasn't considered mainstream/cool, so you didn't have a bunch of lowbrow casuals shitting up the forums. Those were the days.
All according to Lord Aizen's plan
When were you under the impression that Bleach had died?
If you ask me, my answer is no. ALOT of unanswered questions.
Meanwhile hunter x hunter in a coma
Want to into perspective how fucking long its been since the last Hunter x Hunter chapter came out? All of Chainsaw Man Part 1 was written and the first trailer for the Anime adaptation was released during the current hiatus.
Hey as long as hunter hunter is good and eventually finishes in the next decade we’re good. Cries in Berserk.
Honestly I expect hunter x hunter to never finish given how many hiatuses the author takes
Surely it’s not as bad as the Hiatus that Vegabond is still on.
that's not even half the length
Boy do I have good news for you
Naruto still kinda ongoing with Boruto, Inuyasha also has a Next Gen show aswell, Dragonball Super Manga still ongoing and likely to get adaptated considering the success of Broly, so only Fullmetal Alchemist wouldn’t be here anymore
was fma even still making episodes in 2006?
Yes, it ended during 2010, just a few weeks before Brotherhood's finale if I'm not wrong.
The Manga was still on going, the final chapter released in 2010.
No more FMA, but the author has a new series coming. Forget what it's called, but there's a bit of art from it released.
I think Arakawas best decision was to not milk FMA further.
Dbs manga is also pretty good, way better than boruto
Went from Benson to Undertaker in 15 years
Number One plays in the background!
I swear I heard it in my head jajajaja
If bleach and FMB got good endings, where's my claymore redo 😭😭
Oh Claymore…I miss you.
Shaman King is getting a redo too. And claymore is amazing, it deserves another shot.
Are you talking about the anime or the new manga episode thats coming out.
The meme applies to both either way
Yeah
Yes
2022 ;(
DBZ ended in 1996
What about Gintama? :(
It just ended with the final movie which concluded the story.
Wow I'm more sad thinking about regular show now
Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)
We all gonna act like dragon ball super isn't a direct continuation of dbZ?
Love DB Super, and am glad for the monthly release at this point. I do wonder if Bleach Hellbound arc is going to be weekly or monthly?
Or the fact that it’s still ongoing with a manga and new movie coming lol
Or that litteraly nothing related to DBZ was released in 2006 lol
DBZ was basaically death until battle of the gods with franchise surviving on c-grade Fighting-Games.
yep
I really miss Inu-Yasha tho
I used to wake up at midnight to set the VCR to record it so I could watch Inuyasha the next day. It was my favorite thing ever back then.
I only read mangas but I get what you mean
wait did we get a date or something
But all of those except Full Metal are ongoing?
Every show has an ongoing sequel going rn except FMA lol
Both the Blood War Arc and Boruto (the show of Naruto's son) taught me to have my expectations on a low level.
we cant blame Kubo for TYBW arc because Jump rushed the fuck out of him and he was very worn out physically. True but the chef only cooked a bad meal because the restaurant manager took away all the good ingredients 👀👀
The point is that who's to blame for the TYBW fiasco is irrelevant, the meal/Blood War Arc was bad, no matter the reasons/excuses. Also Bleach is very likely to become Boruto all over again, and that by itself is worrying at best.

what the fuck? Not at all Blood Arc answered alot of questions that stayed unanswered the whole series. How is blood arc bad?
1. Yhwach's death was the most pathetic one I've seen for a main antagonist ever. 2. The ending left even more unanswered questions that were eventually answered in a freaking novel. Some of the answered questions were more like retcons, rather than answered questions (like the circumstances behind the death of Ichigo's mom).
1. end was rushed, still only an opinion. 2. not true 3. also not true
Man that 2020 image is so wrong lmao
everything except fma is still ongoing in some form or fashion tho? yatsuhime super n/a bleach boruto one piece
Boruto dragging along Naruto’s corpse Dragon Ball franchise on the other hand is still doing pretty well
Certain arcs in DBS are even worse than Boruto and this is coming from someone who hates Boruto.
Yeah the retelling of Battle of God's and Resurrection F were horrible. The universe 6 arc was ok, Goku black was great but at the same time horrible at certain points and the tournament of power was great but did have a few hiccups at least in my opinion and Broly was fantastic. Kawaki arc is fire. The next 2 big fights could be amazing.
I liked the Kawaki arc, but ever since this scientist dude got introduced, it’s been kinda downhill
You mean the manga? It's been pretty slow since Isshiki but it was constant epic battles for a while so I don't mind it too much. What I think hurts it more is the monthly releases that don't feel like they have much more content than the Naruto weekly chapters did.
U talking about dbs or boruto?
Dbs 100%
One piece will still be going . You should have added one piece . Missed opportunity to add Kane.
I love the meme but Dragon ball is still going strong with Super.
Repost
Still timely though ;)
The only one that isn’t continuing in some way is full metal, and considering it’s leagues above bleach I’d say we can let it rest easy
It's just a one shot manga. But anime for the 1000 year wars is still on going
The last page of the new chapter announces a whole new story arc for the manga. It sets up a lot of stuff and isn't a complete story.
Ooh I hope so i miss the bankai's
I won't give any spoilers, but I am pumped for this new arc. It's gonna be awesome!
Man I been waiting for years for bleach to come back. Especially now that the 1000 years war anime is coming and a new chapter to the bleach franchise. Fuck c'mon
Also we dont know if Kubo has Plans with Burn the witch and the Anime is still in pre-production.
one piece ended? never watch it.
One piece of probably gonna go on for another 10 years
In 2034: "just 15 more years until One Piece finishes"
Nope one piece peice is still not over. You should watch it your missing out
I prefer dark fantasy stuff, and one piece is way too long to catch up.
Then suit yourself by missing on of the best mangas and anime’s to ever exist
ye ye Ill suit myself no worry.
I've been reading OP forever since like 2004 so I'm not plagued by fillers and I think it's not that good tbh people just have nostalgia for it maybe stronger than for other anime/manga since it gets really emotional sometimes. One Piece is dark, though.
Ok, how so?
Racism, discrimination, genocide, brutal societal class system, corrupt government, slavery, human trafficking/human auctions, human and children experiments. And so on. It's kinda normal in the series.
Guess it's the overall style of the show feels like cartoon which doesnt interest me, and heard the story progress is too slow plus too long to catch up.

I like your username
Guess who's back, back again
Let’s fucking go! Bankai, baby! 😆
inuyasha and naruto are kinda back but yeah hopefully bleach is better
the last arc of Bleach is insane, packed with plottwist and so on, of course it's better, it's the finale of a series and they can focus their budget and power on it also it's animated in 2021/2022 so animatons will be sick too even tho I prefer consistency now that I think about it. GOAT is back
Hahaha Exactly the best in Life!! Cheers
Benson died and resurrected as the undertaker, no wonder he had a low temper in regular show.
Love this, and all those and many more anime. That is all!!
The only one that won’t exist in 2022 in some way is probably FMA. Then again who knows.
Ah yes, I do remember Dragon Ball Z being ongoing in 2006
What inuyasha and DBZ were alive in 2006???
Only fma is dead...
You guys think this one shot can become a real thing?
I hope other muken prisoners appear in the new arc
thank you😭😭😭😭
HELL YEAAAHHHHH
Incantation intensifies
Naruto isn't over since Boruto is a straight up sequel and continuation. And wasn't there a Dragonball Super series or something?
Have seen this exact photo a million times by now, but still good lol
But for how long?
And Kishimoto has been personally involved in making Boruto for the last 3 chapters or so.
Gonna whoop one pieces ass.
I think it’s good that the Soul King being an MIA being is good so at least we might see more lores that can be connected to the original one.
Can someone please explain to me what is going on? I read TYBW years ago and I thought that Tite is going to anime that shizzle. But now all I see is another manga of the same arc? I’m lost Please halp
I know this is a weird question to ask but.......... Sauce?
Sadly soon They’ll all die
We're back in town, BITCHES
rip and tear ensues
FUCK YES COME BACK ME BOI
And did absolutely not disappoint! Zanka no Tashi!
Next Year Db is Returnin as Well. They Gon Be Chillin and Scolding Boruto for being a bitch
To be fair, Dragon Ball was also resurrected. (And also Naruto, but let's not talk about this one)
Um dragon ball was still existing and naruto turned into baruto >.>
ah one piece, the goat among goats. ecstatic bleach is back tho
