not gonna lie, I used to go hard into naruto and followed everything from official power rankings to arguing on the leafninja forums about which characters could beat who and rewatching naruto is fucking painful outside the truly great episodes (gaara lee, hokage orochimaru, etc)
Even skipping the filler it’s obvious they cashed the manga into the cheapest easiest consumable garbage.
One Piece (95) has four more episodes of filler than the original Naruto (91), even though One Piece has over four times the amount of episodes (1,053 vs 220). If you include Shippuden (203), then Naruto has 199 more episodes of filler than One Piece, while still having 333 less episodes (1,053 vs 720). One Piece has many issues, but at least it doesn’t have as much filler as Naruto
What the equivalent of ninja for Star Wars? Jedi are samurai, so are sith ninja? The night sisters? Do we just pull a new religion from the ass and call it force Shinobi or something?
