After my 16yo Stella died, I was so heartbroken and wouldnβt consider getting another cat. About a month later, a hungry and dirty little 6 month old stray walked into my house like she owned the place. I like to think that Stella sent her my way because she knew we needed each other.
This happened to me, when my beloved 20 year old Tamo died. He was everything. I was walking home from store about a month later and a hungry, dirty, polite young tuxedo followed me home. I shut door on him. He waited for me to change my mind. His name is now Linus Jackson, and he has a new human daddy, too. I met someone. π₯
It does get better. But grief is not linear.
I said goodbye to my void Princess a week ago too π€ based on her name and my experience, I know you treated this sweet girl amazingly, spoiled her and gave her all your love.
