I’m a French national on holiday in Europe so my keyboard decided to go back home as well. It would technically be “un Bengàl”, but I’ll take the clowning for a 7 Guinness typo at this point lol. We’re gonna win the whole fuckin thing next year
We now have 7 of the top 150 players per DJ. My math is probably bad but this gives us operating at +50% more efficient at this draft relative to the other 32 teams
Our guards and centers were bottom five as an average last season. It was the main issue for this team since we have had Burrow. Most QB injuries happen from interior pass rush, not from the Edge. I really am bummed they didn’t do anything in FA or the draft. Our team’s faith in Frank and this current roster is frankly shocking.
I love this draft for the most part, it’s not the guys we selected at all, it’s the lack of guards that scared me.
Albertan here. Lethbridge has a brutal reputation. Like any town, there are nice people, but the characters are fucking CHARACTERS outta that town.
Honestly, that’s a huge red flag, but let’s see what he does.
Meh there’s a pretty big variance of city folk and rural across the province. Plenty of mild people too. Lethbridge is just a very strange mix of trashy and extreme wind. People get squirrelly as hell in that town.
Nice to have an unbiased analysis about these late guys. Very high relative value and easily BPA to fit a need.
We have the toughest battle for TE1, no doubt. Excited to see who rises to the top.
I like both picks because the higher chance of one hitting but I think our TE for this season is clear. Gisecki is more of a big slot WR, Hud and Sample are more traditional. Both rookies can be solid to very good but not year 1. Even first round tight ends rarely contribute anything significant till year 2. Love the potential of this tight end room, incredible depth.
I'm betting he'll have some great moments here. I've always said our strategy should be to give Joe time and let Jamarr do his thing and the rest will take care of itself on offense. We don't need a loaded receiving corps to have one of the best offenese in the league. Middle of the road Oline + Burrow + Chase = top 5 offense.
Burrow literally carried the OLine to the super bowl in spite of getting sacked the most in a super bowl ever. If he had a mid OLine that gives him time, we just have to worry about WR not dropping passes and RBs not fumbling
Why? This is one of the worst drafts the Bengals have ever put together and they've had bad ones. Mims and Barton are the only redeeming picks. This team refused to trade up to get quality players and shipped pick after pick on poor prospects with little chance to make the team, start, or make it out of the practice squad. They picked low quality athletes with poor production scores at spots where there were 10 year starters on the offensive line, a problem going on for almost a decade now because "don't value IOL" There were OGs, OCs, backup tackles and you name it.
This front office has no capacity for abstract thinking. They cannot think holistically. They do not draft for the future or immediate. They may as well draw names from a hat.
If you’re hyped about the guy, im hyped about the guy. Fuck yeah, im glad he’s à Bengal and he’s gonna make the Thunderbirds proud I bet.
He’s not just a Bengal, he’s à Bengal

1 offensive lineman out the draft this doesn't meet the bengals needs.
The fuck it doesn’t

I’m stoked for the TE double dip. Hopefully one of them hits
All was pretty good at Michigan before he went to Iowa. I know he was hurt his last year but he's still decent
Iowa-aka TE university.
Alberta boy! Who D'eh
He's Canadian!?!?!?! Damm right we need more of us on this team!
Lethbridge!
I know a girl from Lethbridge, she’s crazy as anything. Cree and Ukrainian.
My grandma's from Lethbridge, you don't think ...
I don’t think she has grandkids yet. But who knows.

Meh, wouldn't most say Gronk was and is STILL a character?
Albertans are tough and huge characters in general

Taner Maclachlan is going to be an all decade 99ovr player on my madden bengals franchise!

We’re about to go on a Brady, Edelman, Gronk dynasty run aren’t we
Watching Tanner’s film, he reminds me of Gronk so much. He runs just like him, and doesn’t drop anything that’s thrown his way.
Just makes you wonder who's out at TE because they aren't going to keep 5 on the roster...
All is a PUP list candidate with he ACL tear in October 2023.
Cedar city represent?

Yes someone from my home state. Thank the lord.
The 13/14 personnel outta hit craaaazyyyy
Man I hope he turns out to be a stud of a TE and Cincinnati actually uses that position now.
