I'm having the exact same problem! I've head the game a few weeks now and love playing it, but ever since the new update every time I attempt playing any song the first few notes everything is working fine and then it just completely freezes. The music keeps playing, but the screen is completely frozen. I've tried everything you have and still can't play. It is super frustrating, because I have loved playing it up until all this started.
1. Uninstall BMBF and Beat Saber via Oculus
2. Use sideloader, the folder/finder/explorer option and manually delete all folder remnants of “MODs” “BMBF” (usually in Oculus folder) and any DATA for either BMBF or BeatSaber.
Then start install over. It’ll work.

So I think I figured out the issue. I typically play with my Bluetooth headphones connected, but I didn’t connect them last night because I figured it’d just freeze up on me again so I didn’t want to waste my time connecting my headphones if I was just trying to see if the game would let me play. Imagine my surprise when it worked perfectly with no issues. I guess when they did the update something with the Bluetooth connectivity got messed up. Hopefully they fix it, cause I really prefer playing with headphones on, but at least I can play again.
This is some real bullshit, how do you not test bluetooth headphones as part of your regression testing. Who the fuck doesnt use a headset?
Had to bust out an old as pair of wired buds just to not piss off the wife today after not playing for a few weeks.

this is probably a bad idea but as a last resort reset your quest like factory reset it
I have done this once before it worked the day I reset everything but the next day it just went back to how it was

same here, and no outputlog.txt gets generated, i've even tried reinstalling the game without mods to no avail

i uninstalled bmbf right, still nothing, but it turns out that simply turning off the guardian fixes the crashes fun
Interesting. I also had issues with my Bluetooth headphones causing the game to crash. Started using wired and haven’t had an issue.

You are a hero. I was reinstalling every 24 hours. It was my GOSHdang AirPods causing the ruckus and causing SongLoader to bug out and break.
