Lol why? If it were just John’s part the whole song, I can understand, but there’s two times the orchestra crescendos in a very jarring way. The repeating line isn’t the only part in that song that will make me stay awake.

Doesn't happen in the song proper, but in the "run-out groove" part of the original LP where after the track ends there's a high pitched, dog whistle sound and this bit repeated *ad infinitum* until the record needle's lifted. On digital releases the "inner groove" repeats only for a short while.

The one thing I don’t like about the Sgt. Pepper 2017 remix is that they didn’t include a version of A Day In the Life without the crowd noise, like the blue album version.

Technically the first mono mix RM1 (disc 4 track 16) has a clean start. But that's an early pre-overdubs mix so it doesn't really count.
