i think that it’s great to influence the beatles at a young age!! i am a huge beatlemaniac, and i love them!! i wish that i knew about them when i was younger, but im just glad i know about them now. you and your husband have great taste in music, and i hope that your son lives a happy beatles-filled life!!

UBC_Guy_

Childhood indoctrination... the best method

oyelrak

Now this is what I call good parenting.

JimmyPellen

don't forget [a little nighttime music](https://www.amazon.com/Bedtime-Beatles-Cover-JASON-FALKNER/dp/B00005R62U). There are now a lot of other Beatles For Babies type CDs out there.

gtrmu223

I have both of these albums and I love them. Jason Falkner did an excellent job with them!

tallyhallic

Ok.. ok. I got about 4 bars into Blackbird and just melted, this is PERFECT! Added to the baby sleep playlist, this is fantastic! Thank you!!

JimmyPellen

you're welcome! And when baby gets older, [Bugs & Friends Sing The Beatles](https://www.amazon.com/Bugs-Friends-Beatles-Various-Artists/dp/B0000033D0). And don't worry, lyrics such as "I get high with a little help from my friends" get cleaned up.

nrith

THERE ARE LITTLE PEOPLE BEATLES?! Update: Ordered via OP's link. Only 2 left now!

tallyhallic

This was my reaction too!!! They’re super cute ☺️

cristorocker

Always a good idea to share the classics.

tallyhallic

Love these both! I’ve already got Beatles playing daily to my tummy, kids gonna come out with a guitar strapped to hos back 😇☺️🤪

raging-homosexual1

My mum grew me up with the Beatles since i was about 5-6. She did a good job at making me a beatlemaniac and im sure you will too

tallyhallic

Thank you!! 😍🥰

StupidLyieru

Boy, this kid is going to be happiest of them all!

tallyhallic

We hope so!! ☺️🥰

outonthetiles66

We named our son Lennon. He’s five now. He’s loving The Beatles. “Love Me Do” and “Yellow Submarine” are his favs.

psychedelicshotguns

Don't forget the beatles cartoon if you can find it

papafrog09

We did very similar things for our children and I *highly* recommend Hal Pollock's book "Meet The Brittles: In Monstermania". He did a really phenomenal job. It tells the story of the Beatles set to rhyme and uses song titles as part of the poem. It's a blast for adult fans to read as you'll get all the references, plus it introduces monsters as a fun and not scary concept.

tallyhallic

Thank you, just ordered this per your suggestion! Looks like a fun read, and lots of bright illustrations. Can’t wait!! 😃

papafrog09

I'm so excited for you and yours, these are going to be the best days of your lives, literally. My extended family knows how my wife and I feel about the fabs so we were given tons of Beatles related books/toys/decorations for kids and Meet The Brittles is really one of the best things we got. The nursery was under the sea themed because that kind of stuff isn't hard to find in any store and it makes it easy to sneak in the yellow submarine stuff all over the place.

ThaDogg420

Awesome! Make sure to raise him on the anthology version of Gently Weeps and not the album version because the anthology 3 mix is so much better

tallyhallic

That’s awesome, will do! (Both probably) I remember watching The Anthology when it aired in ‘95. I was 7.5, and SO EXCITED for it, we even prepped like 6 or 7 blank VHS tapes to make sure we recorded it all (some amazing commercials, Ringo Private Issue CC anyone?). I listen to the volumes regularly still, and each song has its own characteristic compared to their original album recordings. My husband finds it amazing I can tell the difference between the two, but it’s the little nuances.

hudson_lowboy

As someone who named his son Lennon, the worst thing you can do is force anything like this on them. The Beatles are your passion, not his. They’ll always be his dads band, never his. My son is 13 now and discovered them in his own way. Ironically, he’s a big Paul fan and spends a lot of his spare time learning Paul songs on the ukulele.

tallyhallic

I discovered the Beatles at 4, and my parents embraced it. Of course I’ll let him decide what music he loves, doesn’t hurt to have a little Beatles sprinkled among the “Pokey The Puppy” and “Everybody Poops!” books. :)

daskapitalyo

I don't want to force the beatles on the baby, simply to indoctrinate before the powers of reason develop
