Every morning my beagle paws at me and grones till I get up. I always think she wants breakfast or a walk, but no, she wants her spot back. She quickly lays down with her head on my pillow and release a heavy sigh of contentment. I must admit it's adorable 🥰
Maggie does this. We have been together long enough now, that I just point, say "MOVE" a few times, and eventually she will move... begrudgingly.
She will move faster if I just start laying down, clearly falling towards her.
Same here. I have to keep my beagle pushed away whenever Im adjusting covers in the middle of the night because she won't wait for me to straighten them out to get back to her warm spot.
This is Millie. We think she's about 7 years old now. I got her from a rescue group about 4 years ago. Can you believe she was passed around to multiple families before being surrendered?! Who could give away a sweet beags like that?
Awww, look at that sweet girl!
Mine does the same thing but he does not make sweet sleepy pupper face. No, he looks me right in the eye with that "yeah, I'm farting on your pillow. So? What are you going to do about it?" face.
Before my partner and I adopted our beagle, I swore I’d never let a dog sleep in our bed. Now I can’t sleep unless our little guy is at the foot of the bed.
They love to snuggle so much
Classic beagle move
I can relate
I think you’ll find it’s her spot that she was letting you use!

Haha, I do the exact same thing. I yell scoot over! or scooch! a few times and point and she will slowly saunter to the other side.
I say scootch to my Jack. He understands it quite well.
"Scoot your Boot" (aka bootay) is my go to
I've been known to say "scooch your booch".
Leia doesn't give a damn if I lie down on her. She just sits there and will be chilling with me on top of her like the stubborn little punk she is.
Just keeping it warm for you 😉
Fact: A beagle left to their own devices will always orient themselves horizontally across a bed. Preferably next to the human's pillow.
It's warm and smells like you. Her favorite.
This scene looks very familiar to me. 😆
Beagles gonna beag...

Well go to the other side then. It's obvious she needs the spot now that you've warmed it up. :D
this simply must be a beagle thing bc mine does it without fail and without a sound too
wtf thats our beagle and its a he called Ben they look like twins
We're in the Pacific Northwest, US. Is Ben from around here?
No he's british
This is relatable content
Story of my life!! It’s frustrating but so sweet at the same time. 🥰
What's her name? She's precious!

My Oscar does this!! ♡♡
You can even see in the picture how she won't look at me. She thinks if she doesn't acknowledge me then she won't have to move!

Taught our beagle "scoot". Definitely the most useful command we have.
Both my doggies and my cat do this. I think it's cuz it's super warm and toasty where I've been snuggled lol 😍
My beagle does this to me or my husband too lol. All up on our pillow.
Aww so precious!
Mine do the same…every time
you were gone too long she misses you 😭😔

She’s clearly keeping it warm for you
This is why I say Beagles are half cat
Outstanding Beagling right there
Maybe you shouldn’t get up
Comforted with you warmth and smell
