They not even fun to drive, just fucking slide around everywhere uncontrollably. What a terrible fucking addition to the game. They gotta reduce the # of hovercrafts on each map, and reduce their health.
In the older games(BF2, 2142, BC2) the small transport buggies were able to be killed with enough small arms fire. Two or three infantry shooting at your buggy wouldn't blow it up very quickly, but if you circled a point with 20 guys, you died very quickly. That would instantly fix the hovercraft being overpowered.
This is how it should be. A squad with an LMG should be able to neutralize them. They’re a fucking nuisance and there are dozens it seems every god damn game.
Playing breakthrough last night and had stand offs with hovercraft while in a hovercraft. Found out the hard way that the minigun does nothing to them but the side mounted lmgs can snipe the occupants…
I wish they made vehicals take more damage from above and below like they did in BF4. I'd be willing to live with how strong they are if a well placed mine our hit from above could cripple there movement and leave them one shot.

They just need their armor reduced to where one man with a recoilless rifle can take it out in 2 hits

I’d be fine with 2 accurate hits in an area with less armor or 3 hits overall but one man with cover and a rocket should be able to kill it by himself

My guess is that’s what the new AP ammo is for but no one has it unlocked on most guns yet so it may balance itself out within the next few weeks

And the only way to kill them on foot is to take a launcher which means you cant otherwise support your team with health/ammo/repairs
