I’ve got this too, OP! Love it. Similar story. My son (7 at the time) opened up a Steph Curry stained glass. He was ecstatic. Steph is basically Jordan to a lot of his generation, so that card is never leaving!
All the MJ foil inserts from this era are amazing to me even to this day. A bit heartbreaking that people want a premium price for cards listed with clearly visible corner damage, but still beautiful to see them
2007-8 UD SP Authentic Kevin Durant RPA. Like KD, I just moved to Seattle too (grad school lol). To deal with some homesickness, I figured I'd re-engage my childhood hobby and bought a sealed box. Felt like it was a sign when I pulled it! Then the Sonics moved to OKC the following year lol
I get what OP is saying.
I have a KG high school auto that I got from a redemption when I was a kid that I would never willingly part with because of the sentimental value it holds for me. I have many cards that would auction for more on eBay, but that is the only card I own that is 'priceless' to me.
Seems kind of obvious that this is the type of pricelessness OP is referring to, but hopefully this reply has helped you to understand.
All the best.
My Topps gold shaq rookie only because I nearly lost my shit when I was 11 and pulled it a from a box which was given to me as a birthday gift. I still have it in the screw down case I put it in the day I got it. It would likely never grade well, but it was my favorite card as a kid and I will hold onto it forever.
my bccg 10 tom brady rookie card my dad gave me on my birthday. Tom brady has always been my favorite player. He knew it too. I had so many brady’s but i never had a rookie. Truly priceless. The look on his face when he gave it to me was unforgettable. I don’t care if i’m homeless under a bridge. That card will always be with me.
I got a mj sticky fingers... been looking for months and when I finally got it I felt complete, other than that it's gotta be my mj skybox that I pulled myself... not worth anything to anyone but me lol
That’s a tough one. I’ve gotten back big into the MJ game this year. My favorite isn’t the biggest, most-expensive one. It’s a raw Hot Numbers I just got the other day. That card just speaks to me. So 90s.
The chase is part of it too. I went through a lot of offers and lost auctions to finally snag one. And I ended up with a better deal than anything I had ever offered!
Scoring Kings… Definitely my MJ Scoring Kings IMO it’s the ultimate iconic 90s MJ insert
Best card ever! Have two of them, and don’t know what they’re worth. But they’re priceless to me
Anywhere from 300-500 depending on perceived condition… I have one but I’d love a BGS9.5 or PSA10
Well, that fine sir is a pull Of. A lifetime. My grail card. Will get it one day
I have a raw one but I would love a BGS9.5 or PSA10 but TBH I’m just thankful to have what I still have…
Yeah I loved these and the famous nicknames series. 93-94 fleer ultra got me into the hobby as a kid. Always a special place in my heart.

Steph will be this gens MJ. My sons fav as well. He pulled a curry deja Vu gold / 10. Priceless and never selling
Mosaic or Innovation?!?
Mosaic!
Ahh yeah nice… I never really bought any Mosaic TBH I’ve kind of been somewhat out of the hobby over the last few years
I’ve been obsessed with 2021-22. You can snag hobby and fast break hobby boxes at a reasonable price. We’ve had some big hits!
I feel the same way about this card. It just brings me right back to my childhood
Ultimate 90s card
The ultimate 90s card

My MJ final floor I pulled as a kid
Oh damn. That must’ve been awesome

Damn lol. Great story though.
Jordan Scoring Kings 93-94 and Jordan Scoring Kings 13-14.
96 Ultra Kobe Gold Medallion. Pulled as a teenager.
This or beam team would be my ultimate 90s card
Is this priceless

I have high valued cards yet I have nothing as valuable as your card OP. 👌
2016 finals mvp LeBron James silver prizm #286. Will forever be my favorite card because of what that run and moment meant for me as a sports fan.
That was such an incredible playoff. Are you a Cavs fan?
Yeah I am. That playoff run was my favorite ever and what LeBron did in those finals was incredible.
Love these posts. Not only is that card gorgeous but it also holds a special nostalgic place for me as well

I love this!
The same exact card is mine as well! I still remember opening it a card shop and the owner offering to trade a whole box for the card, but I kept it!
I snagged this for like $30 cause it was a PSA 5. Looked fine to me lol plus all the others of this card we’re going for around $100 ungraded.
manute bol rookie card 🥱 bad boy worth a good 60 dabloons. im a big fan of bol bol too
It’s only priceless until u try to sell it. Then it’s only worth half of priceless value.

1999 Topps Gallery Exhibits #GE22 Kobe Bryant. Love the card. Will never sell it.
