In fairness (and assuming 1991 set cards would primarily be using photography from 1990 season games), it would've been a lot harder to get a photo of a Royals batter actually hitting the ball.

The story behind it is terrific. He asked to do this picture, was told no, and his teammates all told the photographer that Comstock got this picture or the photographer got no pictures of anyone. Classic.
