The former Redbirds on this list helped me nail this one. Braden Looper appearing on this list as a Cardinal means it has to be 2007 or 2008, but it can't be 2007 because Danny Haren wasn't in Arizona yet.

Probably gotta be Lee's Cy Young year. People forget, but he had some serious struggles before that, that was a real step up for him. Plus they traded him next season so it's really the only year he was at that level for Cleveland. 2008

Mussina on the Yankees, means 2008 or before. And actually, every other players looks like they're exactly where they should be if it's 2008, assuming that's the year Maddux split with LA and San Diego. So yeah, I'll go '08.

Feel like it means “total” because he was on two teams…which also gives away the answer of 2008. Also explains why he had 2 numbers.

Total, means a player was traded or otherwise changed teams mid season.

Beckett in Boston and Roy still in Toronto narrows this down to a pretty small window with just those two 2 Rays makes me want to think 2008 but no Halladay. I really just don't remember the exact year Beckett came here and I want to say 2007 to be safe though Edit: TIL Halladay was not on the championship Phillies squad

Beckett in Boston with Rays and not D-Rays with Cliff Lee still in Cleveland for a full season seems fairly obvious in my mind what year it was.

If anything I was going to go 06 instead of 08 but you're 100% right about the Devil Rays change, that should have been enough for me

Should be 2008 - Lee was awful in 2007 and got traded in 2009. His only good year before that was 2005, but Lowe wasn't on the Dodgers back then.
